Ring of Honor Wrestling holds its debut event in Louisville, KY on Thursday night, July 22, 2010 with an exciting cared entitled "The Bluegrass Brawl". The event, to be held at The Davis Arena, 4400 Shepherdsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40218, marks ROH's first event in the state of Kentucky, and "ROH on HDNet" Executive Producer, and native Louisvillian, Jim Cornette promises the most up-close and interactive Ring of Honor event ever.
"For the first live event in Kentucky, we want to meet all the fans that are seeing their first live ROH match, as well as our dedicated fans that travel. So in addition to the wrestling event at 8pm, we are opening the doors at 6:30 for a free autograph and photo session featuring myself and all the stars of ROH on the card. Until belltime, you can purchase souvenirs from our merchandise stand and have them autographed by the stars, or bring your own items to be signed. You can get photos with your cameras and phones"
"At belltime, the interactive nature of the event continues. Everyone who's been to the Davis Arena knows its TV studio/theater layout means there's no bad seat in the house. Since capacity is limited to 400 seats, we expect this to be the most intimate, yet insane atmosphere a Ring of Honor event can have. We have designed seating packages so that VIP seats are literally as close as you can legally be to being INSIDE the ring! With the normally outspoken ROH fans being up close to the action, it should be off the page."
"We have a special promotion called ‘The Champion's Table'—it's a VIP table for two, on a riser less than 15 feet from the ring, equipped with two leather living-room recliners, plus unlimited free food and drink for two all night, and with waitress service to and from the concessions all night. The ‘Champion's Table' is $200." The 'Champion's Table' package will be available exclusively by calling the ROH office at (215) 781-2500 once tickets go on sale.
"We have 40 VIP ringside tickets, which are floor seats inside the permanent ringside barrier. No seat is more than 10 feet from the ring. These seats also feature complimentary waitress service to and from the concession stand all night, and are $50 each. There are another 32 VIP floor seats, which are all front row floor directly behind the ring barrier for only $40. All other seating is General Admission, while they last, for only $25."
"Tickets for ‘The Bluegrass Brawl' will go on sale at precisely 10AM EST on Monday, May 17th at www.rohwrestling.com or by calling (215)781-2500. We expect the Champion's Table and the VIP Ringside tickets to go quickly, so please log on or call promptly. Also, starting Friday May 28th, GA tickets will be available at the Davis Arena during the Friday OVW TV Tapings between 6PM and 10PM. We'll be announcing stars and matches in the coming few weeks, but obviously we are talking to all the top ROH stars to put together an exciting event for The Derby City. This should be the most intimate, up close and intense ROH experience ever!"
Exciting news. I'm sure the card will be awesome so the ticket prices aren't THAT off putting. I'd love to have the Champions seats haha, not paying for that though. You can garuntee I'd eat and drink my $200 worth though.
