All this hype, but no mention of when/if there will be another show.

As previously stated, this is only the beginning... More details coming VERY soon. Come out to MECW Arrives @ The Centre in Evansville, Indiana tomorrow night and find out more as well. In case you missed it ... Thank you to 99.5 WKDQ, Eric Cornish and Jerry "The King" Lawler for the on air interview that took place today @ 3:30pm!! Today, The King put Evansville wrestling BACK on the map and gave tribute to "old school" and independent wrestling. Jerry Lawler is a TRUE professional... So, The Metal Master is on the show now? That's cool. I've seen a few of his matches and from what I've seen, he's pretty good. I believe he works in Ohio area mostly, but has been branching out some, even working a match with Drake Younger at a recent IPW show. I haven't seen that match though.

much appreciated dudelove. Anything of note happen, anything really good or really bad? Not happy that Shank, Chuck, and Metal Master all lost. Granted I don't know who Shane Rich, Tommy Mercer, or JD Maverick are and that might be the reason I'm not happy they won.
Why did Stevens beat up refs and security? Something particular must have happened to make someone flip out like that and not just losing.
Pretty disappointed to see 2 interferences, a DQ, and a shady win. The Stevens thing makes me think something happened to make it not a clean victory as well. Over half the matches ending dirty leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

What's up with the finishes? Powder in the women's match. How many people were there?

Was part of the storyline in regards to Chase... The commissioner guy (AC ?) came out after that and informed chase that he would be facing Tommy Dreamer on June 11th (MECW's next show)
Jarrett won clean with "the stroke", btw
Didn't like it that Chuck lost, he got the biggest fan reaction outside of Lawler and Jarrett... he'll be facing "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels at the next show.
The DQ in the tag match was to set up a NO DQ re-match on June 11th... Briley/Phoenix did the Road Warriors move off the top rope and Briley was about to pin the guy, ref counted to 2 as the other guy charged at Phoenix and Phoenix threw him over the top rope for the DQ
Overall a good show with solid wrestling, not many blown spots.... only gripe was that the card started a 1/2 hour late with no explanation.
Crowd was really into the action

Nice to see the attendance high and the announced matches so far for the next show.
Chase vs Dreamer could be decent. Judging from the EVOLVE show dreamer showed up at he looked in pretty good shape.
Chuck vs Daniels is f'ng awesome and is probably enough to make me come out alone.
Not sure how Phoenix got DQ'd by throwing his opponant out of the ring to save the pin. That's how I read that anyway. Makes no sense at all. Doesn't matter much to me cause I don't really know McGuire or Pheonix. I'm ok with Briley, but I don't care for Chris Thomas at all. He won't go anywhere though since he's friends with Briley.
If MECW is looking for any fan requests, here are my few.
Jon Moxley - honestly haven't seen him yet which is half the reason I want him booked. I hear nothing but good things about him though.
Jamie Noble - if he's available, not sure if he's an agent for WWE or not. Guy can make anyone look golden
Jimmy Yang - I imagine his no compete clause would be up by the time the next show hits. Especially if paired with Noble again from WCW days.
Paul London - good all around for me, name value, probably work for weed lol.
Motor City Machine Guns - not doing much on TNA so they're free a lot. Just had an epic match with my following recommendation.
Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castognolia) - Awesome all around and make anyone look good.
Sara Del Ray - a must if you have a women's division/showcase match.
Johnny Gargano - Just found out about this guy in EVOLVE. Solid worker, very charismatic. Not too big a name. Not sure who he travels with but he's had some good matches with Jimmy Jacobs and the team Aeroform.
Jimmy Jacobs - duh. Good worker charasmatic
Arrick Cannon - Solid worker and entertaining to watch. Always puts on a good match. Usually travels with a bunch of solid mid-card type guys for a discount.
Ricochet - travels with Chuck and has vastly improved since he's been in Evansville, and he was great back then already
Roderick Strong - awesome guy, big in ROH right now. innovative stuff. I think he usually travels in a pack of people as well.
I'm sure I can think of more, as will the oboys.
I would also recommend advertising on the czwfans.com/board website under the shills section. There are quite a few people that check that board from around the area that would definately drive in to see the names announced for the next card so far. Plus it's free advertising. Word of mouth from that site alone can go a pretty far way in our area.

Phoenix and Briley were DQed because they didn't know that over the top rope was a DQ.
Edmund McGuire wasn't in this match. Badd Company is Chris Thomas and Jon Davis.

We were unable to make the show last night. Sounds like a solid begining for MECW. Congrats on the sucsess. Good guys over there. I must admit i marked way out for Chuck v Daniels. That is amazing. So Dreamer and Daniels are two big announcements, what were the others?? Chase v Dreamer and Chuck v Daniels is one hell of a start thats for sure. Id love to see any of those guys on BSMs list next month. Cant wait for that show.
