Thanks for the Happy Birthdays everyone.
I didn't even realize it was a UFC night. I'll still be there, I can record the UFC. There definately has been an overload of MMA lately, they're trying to capitalize a little too much on the explosion of popularity I think. Liddell has lost a lot of his popularity though, so maybe it won't hurt attendance as much as it would have last year.
Card looks great though. A lot of well known names paired with guys that get a chance to showcase their talent.

I am not disappointed its on same night as UFC, I am as big an MMA fan as anyone, but Chuck Liddell, jeez! Watching him is as painful as watching Pothead to me. Hopefully he will lose and f**king retire!
RIP Mask

Yea that sucks to hear about Mask. I wasnt a big fan, but you have to respect a guy who made some tshirts and sold them out of his trunk and became a freakin icon. You see those TAPOUT shirts everywhere. Shogun vs Chuck these days is like Flair vs Hogan. Has beens against each other.......i could care less. Anderson is a beast, but hes fighting a can, who was basically handed a title shot. I dont have a lot of intrest there. Id rather watch Drake and Chuck tear the house down in person!

These matches just signed for Evolution 4/18 in Evansville, IN This week we received a letter stating that someone had an old score to settle with one of our wrestlers and wanted a match signed with him on our card. We are always a big fan of Grudge matches so we did a little rearranging since the people who benefit most from this kind of hard hitting action is you our fans. So it is official the opening match for Evolution is :
Two of the former "Young Guns" in a Grudge Match
Kashmir Hunk vs "Time Bomb" Tommy Danger
These two were once like Family and as everyone knows Family Feuds are always the most bitter.
We originally had signed a match between "Time Bomb" Tommy Danger and "Pure Dynamite" Justin Andrews. With the above signing that meant we needed a replacement. Now we could have just signed anyone as lots of wrestlers are looking to come to VIP Wrestling and test themselves against the best the Midwest has to offer. But we wanted to make sure we found someone to give Mr. Andrews a battle, so we signed one of the most athletic wrestlers in the area
Rush Wrestling Enterprises "Pure Dynamite" Justin Andrews with Rodney Rush vs SLW Supreme Champion & NBWA Champ DaCobra
Also signed to appear from West Virginia and NWA Main Event "Superstar" Shane Matthews
PLUS Ladies Action
NWA and SHIMMER Ladies Champion Ms Chif vs From the PGWA by way of Chicago, IL Mia Martinez
****************************************************
And don't forget we will return to action in Evansville May 23rd
Already Signed to appear
Sal Thomaselli IWA Light Heavyweight Champion Jason Hades Prince Mustafa Ali and returning CZW World Heavyweight Champion "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger Will he bring more of the "Naptown Dragons" with him?
We have decided that we can't have all this talent coming in without anything to fight for. Therefore, the next six months we are bringing in the best talent from all around the Midwest to compete. Then we will hold a Best of the Midwest Tournament. Seeding for that Tournament will be decided by the wrestlers' performance in the first six shows. This way the fans will be sure to see the very best our wrestlers have to offer as we give them the opportunity to prove they are the best where it counts.... in the squared-circle.

I am a little confused, is Drake Younger vs Chuck Taylor still the mainevent for the April 18th show? also is Ricochet and OMG still booked for the 18th show? Can we get a listing of the full updated card at this time? I do like the sounds of a best of the midwest tournament in the future. I hope to see Chris Hero and BJ whitmer in Evansville for the tourney.

Yes the other matches are still on for the show these matches are in addition to those. Therefore the full card as of now is as follows:
Here is the card so far for EVOLUTION April 18th in Evansville, IN
THIS EVENT WILL BE FILMED FOR DVD RELEASE!!!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MAIN EVENT<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
'All Star" Chuck Taylor vs "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger
These two men were both in Evansville at one time and then traveled all over the United States and Europe collecting accolades and Titles wherever they went.
Now they return to settle once and for all who is the best? Come to the show and you can be lucky enough to witness two of wrestlings rising stars take it to the limit.
****************************************************
TAG TEAM ACTION
"Full Throttle" Aaron Scott & Brandon Marino vs "Naptown Dragon" xOMGx & J P Lightning
Four of wrestling's next generation test their mettle in the squared circle. Scott and Marino hail from St. Louis under the tutelage of ROH Star Davey Richards and current IWA Heavyweight Champ Dingo. OMG represents the R.A A G E Dojo and the Naptown Dragons and J P Lightning has fought his way to the top on his own. This will be something special!
**************************************************** Shank "THE FREAK" Barzini vs The Ultimate Hi-Flyer Ricochet
These will definitely be a clash of two totally different styles as Ricochet known for his speed and uncanny agility meets a man who revels in Power and Pain, especially someone else's. He has a nasty vindictive streak that borders on sadism and is tormented by the voices of his own personal demons.
****************************************************
PLUS Ladies Action
NWA and SHIMMER Ladies Champion Ms Chif vs From the PGWA by way of Chicago, IL Mia Martinez

You know Walt I find something a little crooked about you. You have to post on other people's forums trying to steal a fan base you couldn't support to begin with. Then you run around the area booking your shows the weekend before other shows are supposed to be booked in that venue. What's the matter Walt can't you build your own fan base in your own town? I can see why your not at the coliseum anymore. I wouldn't tolerate your back stabbing azz either.
Fans and marks can say what they want but you will never know the backstage politics and what really goes on and what is considered proper ettiquette. Truth is if Walt pulled this crap back in the days when there were territories, he would be eating out of a tube and getting coloring books for his birthdays.

If you dont like it, then put on a better show. Thats my advise. I dont know how its against the rules to run a show a week after another show. That doesnt really make sense. This is a GENERAL board. The CCW board is on the other side. Once again, im not really understanding the hostility at all??? Walt is putting on a show in Evansville that doesnt have CCW's name on it and all of the sudden he's the devil. If you dont like it, then beat it. Its that simple.

First off, coloring books kick azz.
Second, there are no territories left and its every man for himself. If you had ever made a town more than 30 min away from your house or not still livin' in 1984 you'd know that.
Third, VIP has posted on the GENERAL forum not the CCW forum so by your rational why does CCW have general forum if they dont want other companies to post>
Fourth,If the Lonestar/Walt "regime" was so bad for business...they left...so shouldnt CCW be happy they"re gone?
Why does CCW care what they are building in VIP? This is what CCW wanted, well they got it.
Sounds to me like CCW is "scrambling"(inside joke) and concentrating more on what Walt and Star have going on and not worrying enough about there own show. Which is what they should be concerned with.
There"s no backstabbing. There's no sabotage. CCW will take care of that themselves.

The problem with what Walt is doing is the fact that he is trying to build his promotion off the backs and the hard work that other promotions have already done without him. By posting his card on here he is abusing a resource that CCW has giving the fans to post their opinions, not promote other promotions. You never had NFW posting there cards on here. Heck when NFW was mentioned on here everyone was ticked off about it. Now when it comes to Walt running shows a week before another promotion is scheduled to run there, it comes down to being Walt trying to run another promotion out of the venue, plain and simple. It is bad for business to run two seperate shows out of the same venue within a month of each other much less a week. Your buddy Walt doesnt realize how much money he costs everyone that has already put the time and effort into putting a show together. I am not saying Walt shouldnt put shows on in the area but I am saying he should find his own venues and his own towns. Build up his own fan base instead of trying to steal it off the backs of the guys who have busted their rears. It doesn't matter if CCW or NFW has bad workers or what you think is a bad show, They built their fan base by doing the work of getting the fans to fill the seats. Walt has no right to come on other promotions message boards and promote his show like he owns them.

Again, "truthful opinion" you are showing your ignorance. i.e. There are 2 posts promoting ROH There are 3 posts promoting IWA MS there are 2 NFW posts, 1 from XCW MidWest 2 for JCW and 1 for WWC in Carbondale IL and all that is on just the first page of the GENERAL board. Do we ned to define general board for you?
Sounds to me like plain old sour grapes, if ya know what i mean? Try a new argument.
