The Oboys will be in the house for this one. I basically just need to get out of the house. Im bankin on the ref being the MIZ!!!!! Yea, right.
PS - Whoever made this flyer is the real deal. This is one of the best wrestling posters i have seen in a long time. The old school pics of Lawler and Dundee are badass.

if you just want to get out of the house, just wait two days and go to MECW in Vincennes.

Is there a charge for the Meet And Greet? If so, how much?
CCW is advertising this show properly. I have heard commercials on GBF and they were giving out tickets tonight. Good job CCW.

It's not CCW. It's Jamie and Bill investing and collecting. Just FYI.
It will go right back to the normal crappy shows after this show.

MECW Show CCW Show Jerry Lawler = Jerry Lawler Bill Dundee = Bill Dundee Brian Christopher = Brian Christopher Tracy Smothers = Tracy Smothers Scott Steiner > Ricky Morton, Bobby Eaton, Dutch Mantell, 2 Tuff Tony, Busch Cracker Luke, Madman Pondo Jamie Dundee, Wolfie D, Damage Inc. Al Snow > Ricky Morton, Bobby Eaton, Dutch Mantell, 2 Tuff Tony, BuschCracker Luke, Madman Pondo, Jamie Dundee, Wolfie D, Damage Inc. The Bad Boys > Damage Inc. The Hybrids > Damage Inc. Mitch Ryder = Mitch Ryder Bull Pain - Class of his own
Equal card huh? Why don't you smoke another joint on the way to the show.
Special ref...whoopty fcking doo...Jerry Jarrett? Anything less than Jerry Jarrett would now be a letdown because I just named who the mystery ref is. I have secured mind control CCW and I'll release you when the time is right. Prove me wrong!

Ok, ill play your little game. Let me break it down for you bud, Vincennes is an extra hour away from my house. CCW is on a Wed, MECW is on a Friday. I have plans on Friday night, nothing at all going on Wed night. As for the show being equal quality, IMO, it is close. Stiener does make the MECW card a bit better because i love me some Papa Pump. I also like Tracy v King better than Dundee v King too. However, you can cancel out the Hybrids all together because they are working the Bad Boys, who id argue arent > Damage Inc. Besides Al Snow, who i could care less to see, that about sums it up. If MECW was running on Wed in Evansville, id rather go there but lets not act like MECW's show is SOOOO much better. Because its not.

According to the radio spot that's running on GBF, Bobby Eaton is suppose to be the guest ref for the Lawler/Dundee match. That doesn't seem right to me, but that's what they said.

After RAW last night and the push WWE is giving the King, im shocked hes actually going to work these shows. Hes one injury away from blowing the biggest push hes ever had in the big time. That being said, if he does end up honoring these bookings, both MECW and CCW should both reap the rewards. I read where Lawler vs Dundee drew over 1700 in Nashville last week. Thats about 500-600 more than TNA averages at house shows. I hope Lawler comes in this time and both companies get HUGE turnouts Id be lying if i said wasnt excited to see Jerry in the ring.

I was in the car for about an hour today and heard the CCW ad about 6 times. I wouldnt be shocked if the building is full tomorrow night!

Overall, the show last night was ok. Im not going to sit here and break it all down, but it was kind of a trip to see the King vs Dundee in the Coliseum. The Kings speech about all the amazing matches and career highlights he had in the building was pretty cool. Talking about his matches with Andre the Giant and sew on. Overall, its pretty much what you would expect from a card with an average age of about 55. There were some highlights and some real lowlights, but overall i had a good time. Id say there were somewhere around 600 people in the house. I expected there to be a lot more with all the radio ads and the promotion of Lawler and the push he is getting in the WWE. I hope MECW can pack em in tomorrow night as well!

Let's be honest. The show was at times hard to watch, but I knew what to expect going in, so I had low expectations. It didn't surpass them, but it didn't completely suck either. Memphis style generally isn't my thing. I did have a good time overall though. There were some ups and down. Here are some random thoughts:
I actually expected it to be more crowded because I heard the commercials so many times, but it was still a nice turnout.
Why was every match a tag match? And a lot of the teams were random. Bizarre. There was only one Singles match on the card.
Dr. Blue has lost some weight. Good for him.
It's funny that the radio advertisement referred Rock n Roll Express as the RnR Express. I kept calling them the Rest and Relaxation Express, which is more appropriate at their age.
I wasn't crazy about Boseephus Brody or whatever his name is. His look is cool, but he moves in slow motion. Renesto rules though.
I love Tracy Smothers. Always classic on the mic. His "daughter" has improved on the mic a lot since the last time I saw her. I loved her promo. One of the best of the night.
It was great to see The King. His mic work and promo were great. He has some of the best punches out there.
The ending to the Main Event was terrible. They stalled forever with Dutch looking for the chain and then he DQed him. Just a bizarre ending. They did save it by having the Dundees beat every one down and then set up a tag match for March 2nd.
I liked that they had tables set up for each of the Legends to sell their merchandise and sign autographs during Intermissions. I didn't actually go up there to meet any of them because of long lines, but it was a great idea.
