I didn't want to start any problems by saying it, but I too have been hearing rumors about both shows being canceled. I've heard that Joe Bailey (J.C.'s dad) is the one that's done something to get both shows shut down because of his heat with Ian. Apparently, Bull Pain is the one saying that the shows aren't happening. We all know the heat that Bull has with Ian, so it's hard to say if this is 100% true...but so far, pretty much everything Bull's said about Ian has been accurate. So, I guess we'll what happens next.

I wonder what Joe could do to actually get the shows canceled?

I don't know what Joe did, but he's obviously done something. This popped up over on the CZW fans board last night...it's a letter that John Calvin (Ian's son) wrote to Joe. It's hard to read because it's written like a 12 year old emo kid (Meaning bad grammar and no punctuation) but it's an interesting read none-the-less. It all but confirms that the shows have been canceled.
Dear Joe,
J.C. didn't die from only wrestling ya maybe some of the head shots did help that but the same thing would happen hitting the mat wrong Chris Benoit didn't do hardcore, and look what happen you him and his family,i love jc more than anything in this world just as you did joe but JC hurt his own brain with the drugs, and You told me we didn't have a problem you taking money out of my pocket out of my family pocket like you have done the past ten years joe,You are taking food out of my little brother's mouth, and do you think in your mind that JC would be happy with this he wasnt happy with it when you were doing it years ago,you need to understand also that my dad love jc like a son like he loves me and he wanted the best for jc and jc loved wrestling no matter what it was.And you are the one that brought jc to IWA when he was a kid watching the same thing you are trying to stop. This isn't what JC wants and you know that joe,Ya we owe people money that why my dad gave bull pain 50 at JCW,that why he is trying to run shows again to give people there money back. The night of putting JC in the ground my dad ask you joe do you want us to help and you said that everyone was already getting stuff together for JC.I don't care what you say about me,but you know what you are doing is wrong and that JC wouldn't like it.I'm sorry that you lost your son Joe i really am i miss jc too,but you didn't see Owen hart's dad messing with WWE,you didnt see Chris Candido's dad trying to bring down TNA,and you didnt see Eddie Gilbert's family trying to take down wrestling.Think about these things joe and if you want to response to me please do.Thanks for your time.
Thanks,
JC Rotten

Thats kind of wild. Im not here to take sides because i can actually see it both ways. At the same time, i dont think its Joe's place to blame the IWA for what happened to JC. Its a far to touchy subject for me to comment on, but i will say that i hope that these shows arent canceled.

Yeah, I can kind of understand Joe's position, but I also think it's kind of bad for him to be out right blaming Ian for what happened to J.C. It seems as though there were a lot of things that contributed to his death. And granted, Ian sure isn't a saint by ANY stretch of the imagination. So, I don't know. The whole situation is just plain sh*tty.
At least it looks as though the Selvin show is still on though...at least for the moment. I'm not totally surprised by Masada pulling out though. I've heard that he has heat with Ian, but I have no idea why. I guess he was quoted in some interview as saying he'd never work for him again. It looks like it's still going to be a fairly solid show. The team of Gresham and Lyndon is rather random, but I can see them working well together.

Im guessing that Masada was pulled because of the money IWA was out in losing the deposit on the Clarksville building. Kind of crappy of them to charge a deposit for the building and then not refund it when THEY cancel the date.
This whole Bailey/Rotten fued is something that i cant really speak on. Hard to judge Joe for whats going on after all the stories you heard about JC's funeral. I dont know if hes blaming Ian for what happened or if hes just trying to get back at him for the way Ian acted. In the end, minus all the drama, it sucks for the fans because Bloodshowers looked like an awesome show. It wouldnt shock me if this one ends up canceled too.

The Joe Bailey/Rotten fued has just been taken to a WHOLE new level....as is the Mickie Knuckles/Ian fued, the Bull Pain/Ian fued, the Madman Pondo/Ian fued (which I wasn't even aware of) and even the Billy Gram/Ian fued. Ian was a guest on a wrestling radio show today and all the above people called in....and did the sparks ever fly! Here's a link to an mp3 file of the show. Some words of warning first though, if you're offended by foul language DO NOT download this and also, the whole thing is 2 hours long.....but it's WELL worth the time! And just so everyone knows, I'm not posting this as a way to bash Ian or IWA:MS. I'm still bummed that I can't make this Selvin show (if it even happens). I just found this to be extremly entertaining and informative. ENJOY!!!! www.blogtalkradio.com/jerrywiseman/2011/03/23/and-then-the-bell-rings-1.mp3

WOOOOOW! Thanks for posting this. It def was entertaining. Here is what i take from it.....
Let me begin by saying that i would not defend Ian Rotten, ever. I just listened to the show and tried to take it all in. The host of the show is beyond unprofessional. He sets out from the beginning to downgrade Ian at all costs. Not that he doesnt deserve it but the more he tried to bash him the more he ended up making Ian look like the good guy (which im doubting seriously that he is). Obviously the host did ZERO homework. Calling IWA a fed that uses backyard guys and trying to say that Ian didnt launch the careers of Punk, Hero, Cabana, Sydal etc. Not saying that Ian made those guys but he gave them the biggest stages to preform on at the indy level. Without Ian, im not sure those guys would be where they are today. He tried to run down the selvin card calling guys like Gresham, Devon Moore, Louis London etc, backyard talent. Obviously the host is clueless. Then when talking about Ians affair with Mickie, he tried to pin "sex offender" on Ian until he figured out that Mickie was indeed 27. The host sucked. Period.
Mickie Knuckles story, from the back and forth, i think to be true. Id say more went on that just a pie face. Mickie Knuckles was Ian's right hand man for years. She worked, ate, slept and bled IWA MS. There is no way she would walk away from Ian like that from just being pie faced. I think Ian isnt telling the entire truth here. If he lost his cool and went after her, then he should just own up to it. I think he would come out the better for it. As for Bull Pain chiming in, anyone is going to be pissed when they are owed money. Bull talks a mountain of crap, but worked for IWA for years upon years. Its hard to believe that if Ian was the devil for so long you would just keep taking booking from the guy. I think their beef is all about money (which is 99% of Ian's problem)
The Pondo beef is all business and he said she said crap. I wouldnt put much stock into them having much beef. Sounds like Pondo has been hearing Ian is talking crap about him. Could be true, but with all the haters id say everyone is trying to throw Ian under the bus.
The Joe Bailey thing is a bit touchy. I understand him being upset, but lets be serious....Ian gave JC pills, who wasnt??? I mean if Joe didnt know his son had a problem back then, the man is blind. There is NO way you can blame Ian for that stuff. He totally contradicts himself. He bashes Ian for the Hardcore, yet when Ian asks him about the no rope barbed wire matches JC had in his own backyard, Joe has nothing to say cept that it was ok because JC was only 15 then?? If you ask me, thats worse. You exposed him to that part of the business and now you want to blame someone else?? I understand he is a man in pain and i dont blame him for being upset but i think hes going about things wrong. He talks down Ian for people doing hardcore wrestling for 20 bucks a night and says hes robbing kids blind. Well thats personal choice IMO. I dont go to IWA and ask to get hit in the head with crap and take crazy bumps for 20$. You can bet your ass, if i was going to take that kind of abuse, id be setting a high rate to take the booking before i even signed on. IMO, you cant blame Ian for that. If thats what kids want to do, thats their fault. Its called personal responsibilty. Stop blaming everyone else for you problems and man up. Thats why this country is going down the toilet because no one wants to step up and take responsibility for themselves. Its always someone elses fault or im going to sue your ass. Gimmie a break.
The Billy Gram thing was stupid as well. He calls in screaming tons of stuff at Ian, Ian cant get a word in at all. Most of the things hes mad at Ian about are stories that come from second parties. When you have a figure like Ian, who is hated by a lot of people, you are going to hear some stories. Some true, most probably not true. His main beef was because he left him a VM that he was going to kill him. I get that. Other than that, his beef was pretty weak. The only think i agreed with Billy with was that Ian said he never took liberties in the ring and tried to hurt someone. I mean, maybe they were works but the Mike Levy and peter b beautiful matches were just plain brutal. Over the top brutal. So i think Ian was wrong in saying hed never done that.
In the end, im sure Ian is as shady as the come on most business things. Do i think things in this interview were overblown, OH YEA. Im not going to sit here and claim to know the business side of IWA MS. Im sure Ian has done plenty wrong there and he is obviously a horrible businessman. That being said, as a fan, none of that means squat to me. All i know is he puts on great wrestling shows. So i guess thats why part of me wants to defend him. That being said i wont. Because im sure the Mickie thing prolly got ugly and asking for gas money at JC's funeral are things that i cant really get past. I dont have to like the guy personally to enjoy a good wrestling show though. Im starving for some of that style of wrestling around here. I need to see it live again. So, i will be there on the 8th. IF, the show even happens. Whew, that was a long rant.

You're welcome, Ike. When I first heard that, I knew I needed to post it over here. It sure was an eye-opener and shed a lot of light on so many rumors that have been going around for years. I wanted to keep my personal thoughts on it quiet until others had a chance to hear it, but here are mine... First and foremost, I agree 100% that the guy doing the interview SUCKED!!!! He obviously had a personal agenda against Ian from the get-go. When I listened to it, the first thing I thought was, "D*mn, is this guy a lawyer???" And he obviously had no idea about certain aspects of the business. When he questioned if Devon Moore, Jonathan Gresham, Louis Lyndon and Chrisjen Hayme were all "backyarders" that pretty much killed any credibility the guy had. And yet, he was so quick and excited to promote a show that features Vic the Bruiser? OUCH!!!!!!!! As for Mickie, I believe her story. When I first started going to indy shows back in 2008, I talked to her a few times and she was one of the nicest, coolest people I've ever talked to. And considering her loyalty to Ian for so many years, there's just no way she could be making up such horrible stories about him now. As for Bull Pain, he's had many chances to "beat Ian's *ss" since KOTDM (The J.C. memorial show, ICP's Gathering) and yet nothing has happened. All for the sake of it being "Not the right time or the right place"? I might be wrong, but I think he even worked with Ian as a tag team at a show at the last Gathering, didn't he? To me, seems as though it's not worth getting into legal trouble over $300...which is probably a smart move on Bull's part. As for Pondo, I had heard some very weak rumors at the last IWA:EC shows I attended that he had some sort of heat with Ian, but I had no idea what that was all about. It just seems business-related and now Pondo's making it look worse then it really is. As for Billy Gram....I've never really talked to him personally, but I've been around him at the CZW shows I've attended and he was at the Carnage Cup last month. I always find him to be entertaining purely for the fact that he's just so darn goofy. It's kind of a "I wonder what he'll do next?" kind of thing. Heck, I even own a Cult Fiction shirt! HA HA!! Though I know he's been a wrestling fan for a very long time, he's only really been in the business a few years and only got into it because he met Toby Klein at a horror convention (that's the story I heard anyway). He's just so starved for attention that he'll do anything. Apparently, he lives in Stamford, Connecticut and recently posted a video on You Tube standing outside WWE Headquarters, saying that Cult Fiction was going to invade WWE. Here it is....and it's a hoot: www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8vBRtNm5GoAs for Joe Bailey, I still don't exactly know what to say about all of that. At the J.C. Memorial show, I shook Joe's hand and said "God bless you, sir." Though I don't really know all that much about him, he seems like a good man and I can certainly understand how heartbroken he must be for losing his son. However, I really think he's taking out all of his anger and sadness on Ian because he's the easiest target and he's had so much heat with Ian for so many years. It seems to me like it's a "I've got him NOW!!!" situation. And that's not to say that Ian was right for giving J.C. pills...because he wasn't AT ALL!!!! And in some ways, Ian should probably answer for doing something that illegal. But I also think there was so much more than what Ian did that led to J.C.'s death. I'm sure J.C. did the same thing when he worked CZW shows as well. That's not to say that John Zandig is to blame either though because I know he has always been clean (believe it or not) and the only drug-related thing he did was turn a blind eye to what the guys who worked for him were doing. I've heard stories, but I can only imagine what exactly goes on in that parking lot behind the ECW Arena. Whenever I go to shows there, I will drive around the block literally 20 or 30 times just to get a parking spot on Swanson Avenue, in front of The Arena. The parking area behind the building at that place is downright SCARY!!!!! Anyway, I just thought I'd share that bit of audio since everyone seems to be talking about it and it sort of relates to the local scene here. If I wasn't planning to be traveling to Philly for the wXw/CZW shows on the 8th, I would be sitting front row at the Selvin show in a heartbeat!!! And that's not because I support Ian. Personally, I really think the guy's a scumbag, but as a fan (or smart mark or mark or whatever you want to call me), the show that he has lined up for the 8th is exactly the kind of wrestling show that I enjoy seeing and it's not the kind of show we're going to get around here otherwise.

I saw that Axl Rotten is gonna be the guest on the same radio show on Tuesday night... I've heard that too. It should be interesting. Also, apparently now Billy Gram has challenged Ian to a kickboxing match.....and he wants Bull Pain to be the ref.....and he's going to give Mickie, Peter B. Beautiful, Mike Levy, Dysfunction and J.C.'s entire family front row seats......AND......he's wanting to do this in Indianapolis!!!!!! See what I was saying??? Billy's goofiness and attention wh*re-ness never ceases to amuse and entertain me. HA HA!!!!!! I will say though that if by any stretch of the imagination this should actually happen (and yes, I know it won't!), then you better believe that I'll be there to witness it!
