Notes.
The last couple of times I have attended CCW shows they have drooped down from 6 to 5 matches which at $10.00 a ticket you know breaks down to $2.00 a match. Myself I would rather see them run the normal 6 or even 7 matches. I also think you can run too many matches also. My question is what do others think is the correct amount of matches to run on a show.OK down to ring side.
Match one.
Mickie Knuckles VS. Jessie Belle Smothers
This was a decent opening match. Mickie is just plain aw some and she is almost Flair like in how she can take Jessie and make her not only look good but strong. Do not get me wrong Jessie is money at drawing heat but she is no where in the same category with Mickie when it comes to wrestling. The only sad thing is they have Jessie with Diamond Steel. What a step back wards going from Smothers to Steel. The winner Mickie Knuckles.
Match Two.
Austin Cage VS. LoneStar
This was a match set up that Lonestar had to beat Cage 3 times before Cage beat Lonestar once. If Lonestar lost he would half to face the whole roster next week. Cage came back with some near falls and at times it looked like he might pull one out but LoneStar won in a Squash. The winner LoneStar.
Match Three. CCW TITLE MATCH
Micas Silva VS Diamond Steel
Micas is a future star in wrestling and has all the tools to make it big. He does have all the talent but he does have his work cut out for him wrestling Steel. Steel has the look of a wrestler but lacks any talent what so ever. He seems more concern with his guitar skills than wrestling.I do not believe it Micas was able to make this a decent match.Micas did deliver an aw some super kick for the win. The winner Micas Silva.
Match Four.
Wolfie D VS Chris Michaels
I know most do not like Michaels but the last 3 times I have seen him he has delivered big time. I know he has gone through some personal problems plus I think him wrestling Chase has played out or stale. This was a grudge match between former tag champs it was back and forth. The Match ended with Wolfie going to use his belt and Michaels getting it away from him. The ref grabs the belt from Michaels and as they fight over the belt Wolfie rolls up Chris for the victory. Not a strong finish but not bad starting a feud. Winner Wolfie D.
Match 5. Main Event CCW Tag Team Title Match
Buzz Dupp Tim Renesto
VS
Doctor BLUE Brody JR.
Buzz comes out and says Mitch is a no show so he would take anybody from the back out comes Doctor Blue ( I am not a Shank fan but I am starting to regret my comment made from a past post when it comes to Blue.) Buzz starts the match and tags in Blue. Buzz would never tag in again as he spent his time talking to Jay. Total beat down by Brody and Renesto which I am fine with. I have managed before and would love to Manage Renesto and Brody not only are they talented but they are the best tag team in the Evansville area and I know thats not saying much but they are a legit big time team. The winners Renesto and Brody JR.
