Ok, we have to be serious here. The wrestling on the show was pretty brutal. Down right awful at times. It is what it is. I'll try to take out some positives and just post random notes. Good and bad.
- CJ Popp should not be aloud anywhere near a wrestling ring. Im pretty sure is in a bad class all by himself.
- Maverick is tolerable. Ive always liked Buzz and his top rope splash was prolly the wrestling highlight of the night.
- I try to take it easy on Cage because hes a kid and he gives good effort, but his skills on the mic and in the ring need a lot of practice. This match made zero sense. Cage dominates the entire match and then gets beat. Makes your lightheavyweight champ look real real bad. Then JP runs in and Cage doesnt even accknowledge he just got whipped. Confusing stuff
-LT Faulk rules. Aside from Mitch and Switchblade, IMO, hes the best CCW has. His mic work was great and did a great job setting up the match. The match was kinda bad. When Switchblade was in the pace picked up and made for some decent moment. Im not a fan of Punch at all. The ending was just odd. Maverick comes in and tries to hit Punch with the belt, but Cody steals it and tries to say no, then hits him anyway. Looked awkward and didnt make any sense to me.
- Mitch and Dundee was alright for about 3 minutes. Then it put me to sleep. I did enjoy the way it ended. With the two guys setting up the match for next week.
- JC Bailey brought real hardcore back to Evansville. It was sick. IMO, he save the show and gave me my 10 $$ all by himself. Real glad to see him back and if he can bring some hardcore friends with him, i may even have to come back to CCW.
- The Ring Announcer is the best CCW has ever had. Sorry Bizkit, Sorry Fangz, that dude is awesome. Very good energy and really gets you pumped up. No joke.
- I think its awesome how Jamie Dundee is trying to help CCW out. While that show doesnt really appeal to me, it will appeal to the masses in Evansville. Great job getting sponsors and making a radio station one of them. I hope that does CCW some good.

The show was the worst one I've ever seen from CCW. There wasn't a good match on the show. The two best workers there, JP and Jay, didn't wrestle. Dundee has TERRIBLE tights. Dundee and Mitch put on one of the most boring matches I've ever sat through/. I left during the main event because hardcore is not for me.

nice post ike......I know I wasn't there but I do know a few of the wrestlers....missing the return of jc really just sucks. Hope he's there next week. Falk is excellent wrestler, I thinking he's still doing the training over in Louisville with Mitch's show. CJ just needs to give it up. Kinda sad to hear the story lines are still making no sense. Heck if I recall right the last time I've saw a show of dundee and mitch wrestled for the title at CCW. Time limit was the conclusion. Good Stuff Good Stuff.

That's awesome that JC was there. If I had known that for sure (sorry i didn't pick up on your hint, Ike!), I would have tried to make it to the show. I hope he comes back and as Ike said, brings some friends with him.....as I said on the other thread, with Pondo as the hardcore champ.... Pondo vs JC?? I really don't know much about most of the guys in the other matches, but 15 minutes of Ryder vs. Dundee sounds kind of painful to sit through. But, Dundee does give the card someone that most people here in Evansville can relate to, so if he puts asses in seats, it's okay.

Ike was being to nice. To be brutally honest.....The show was horrible! If it wasn't for JC my 10 bucks would have been better spent buying paint and watching it dry! The only other person I enjoy on the card other than JC is Mitch.....because he can actually "wrestle." However since the crowds to FN retarded to even start a slow clap....Real workers like Mitch wont give two sh.its about what they do in the ring.

While I wouldn't put him on my list of top favorites, I don't mind Mitch Ryder. I know in recent years, he's done stints in CZW and Chikara and can still work a good match with younger talent. So, maybe I should clarify what I said before, sitting through 15 minutes of a Jamie Dundee match sounds rather painful to me.

But I respect him from his work in Chikara. Just sayin'...out of everyone at the coliseum....Mitch knows the most

I forgot to mention the HORRIBLE crowd. Jesus. Just plain awful. They wouldnt know the difference between a wrestling match and a donkey show.
As for the special show coming up. I can remember some of the names. Wildfire, Spellbinder, Brian Christopher, basically the USWA lockeroom. Throw in Snow vs Lynn. Pondo, Tracy Smothers, etc.
