Considering how well the last show went with all the big names that didn't show, did anyone confirm that Walt actually called the talent this time? And does anyone really think they are going to show either?

The talent that didnt show last time was all comming in 1 car from Chicago. This time, most of the talent booked has already showed up for VIP back in April. You can never say never, but i would think these bookings are a little more dependable. Once again, all of the no shows before, Davey Richards aside, was on the wrestlers, not Walt. In the indy's you can never be SURE, but im guessing that everyone should be there this time.
That being said, if you guys havent seen Zero G and you arent doing anything on sunday night........come out and see them. They are insane.

Great looking card, and not that it matters but I think Younger vs. Shank should be on top. Honestly, I think Younger is a bigger star than Ricochet or Taylor. Unless they are putting over Shank and want to send the fans home happy with a face winning the main event. Should be a nice follow up to Evolution in any event. I will be there.

If I am not mistaken, this is a general section on the board, which is for talk about other feds. Call me stupid, but I think this is what that is for.

Considering how well the last show went with all the big names that didn't show, did anyone confirm that Walt actually called the talent this time? And does anyone really think they are going to show either? I had my doubts to, but all the talent showed up. I dont see you here saying how you were wrong about it. Seems you only show up when you have something negative to say.

I didn't know anyone at the Freedom Fest could be considered top talent. And why are you defending VIP when Walt obviously crapped on you and your efforts to help him out? While I am not intending to be negative, only honest. You Ike really contradict yourself. All the while you defend VIP and everything you wish it stood for on this forum, you are more than annoyed and pissy towards VIP with the way they don't care whether you show up, help out, or bring them fans. If that is what you have to get behind as a fan then I feel for you man.

Never said i was getting behind anything. I, like you are only being honest. You said you doubted they would show and they did. Had they not shown, you'd have been here talking trash. Instead, they did show up and you were silent. Chuck Taylor and Drake Younger are about as good as talent as you are going to get on the indy circuit. If you dont consider them top talent, then id like to know who you do?
As for me being upset with VIP management, its true. I suppose i dont think they handled everything the way i would if i was running a biz. That being said, i dont see myself defending anything. Im just stating the truth. You said Walt didnt book any of the wrestlers who no showed last month. That was untrue. Davey was the only one who was not booked......the others just chose IWA. I pointed out the truth. I refuse to stand up for things i have no control over. I do what i can to help VIP make it. Thats all i can do. I dont know Walt from you personally, so i cant stand up for him. I will, however, stand up for how i feel about it. You could have simply came on here and said, wow, looked like everyone showed up, hats off to VIP. Instead, as usual, when things go the way of VIP, your silent. I was just calling that out. You know, kinda like you called me out after last months show.
I do however respect you as a smart wrestling fan. Yeah we have a different opinion on whats good and whats not, but thats what this board is for. Personally im tired of the personal attacks around here and what not. I just wanna talk wrestling. I wanna leave the trash in the dumpster. Anyway, whats NFW got cooking this month. Id invite you to be more vocal on this general board about NFW. Im always up for knowing the goings on in the area when it comes to wrestling.

Ike, I see no need in beating a dying dog. Walt has shot himself in the foot not just once but many times. He claimed to have booked someone he never called, his workers no showed him to work elsewhere, even if they did show up only 40 fans showed up to see them, and then he disrespects his only fan base. Why do I need to speak when this crap speaks for itself. Before you ask about how he shot himself in the foot about workers no showing let me explain. It is all about credibility within your peers, These guys did not respect Walt enough to want to drive down from Chicago to work for nothing more than peanuts. Word gets around fast about promoters that can't draw. So even though Drake and Chuck are good workers they don't draw good crowds. I have youtubed them both and though they can work in the ring they can't draw a crowd into being a part of the match. That is the difference between good workers and great ones. As far as NFW, why don't you come down and check it out. The first show back was a bit rocky to start but it got better the longer it went and this show should be better.
