Internal conflicts among CCW management , booker and others resolved on one end and starting on another. CCW is headed in the right direction so stop the back room politics. CCW is sponsored by Napa tonight . I am sure this is not an every week thing but somebody at Napa being related to Sam. This was a win win for both CCW and Napa 1. CCW picked up some extra cash at the ticket booth and 2. Napa treated their employees to a cheap night of entertainment. The only question would be if the wrestling sucked or not.
This show was allot better than the Super show not saying it was perfect, but they did seem to learn from past mistakes.
Show starts with Mark Acker putting over his son and how CCW came to be. This was from the heart and very well done. Mark then introduces Mitch Ryder as one who has been their with Eric from the start. Out comes DR.Blue, begging for another chance to come back to CCW. Acker slaps Blue and runs him down for working for Jamie. Where is Mitch Ryder's Slap for leaving with Jamie. This came across as hypocritical and would have been better for Brian to bring out Mitch,Tracey and Blue as a angle to get CCW back.
1. First Match Mitch Ryder vs. Dr Blue Awful match pretty much a squash as Mitch beats down Blue and he would take his mask after the match. Winner - Mitch Ryder. 2. Second Match ( Tournament Match ) J.P. Lightning vs. Alister Fear This was another match that was not too good but it would be used to set up the next match. Scarlet went to hit J.P. with a chair and ended up hitting Alister Winner - J.P. Lightning This led to J.P. grabbing Scarlet and he was going to hit her when out came Bull Pain. 3. Third Match J.P. Lightning vs. Bull Pain This match was the start of the turn around for the show. Bull did his usual beat down when J.P. threw powder in to Bulls eyes. The rest of the match was back and forth from here until Bull Finlay took over. It was nice to see Bull work and sale. J.P. only problem was he never did his scream once and with 281 people that would have been gold. Winner - Bull Pain 4. Forth Match Oliver Cain vs. Shank Barzini As far as I am concerned this was one of the best matches of the night. Both guys wrestled move for move both inside and outside of the ring.Shank delivered an aw some power slam and spine buster in the match but it would not be enough and Shank would goto the well once to often.Cain would be beat down afterwords. Winner - Oliver Cain 5. Fifth Match ( Tournament Match ) Micus Silva vs. Matt Atreya This was supposed to be Hyzaya vs. Atreya but Gooch and Atreya took out Hyzaya. I half to be honest I was looking forward to seeing Hyzaya in this match. The match was not bad Micus was super over with the crowd kind of like Mitch was. Pretty much back and forth. I could not get into it because of the switch. Winner - Micus Silva 6. Sixth Match ( 3 Way ) Kyle Maverick vs. Mickie Knuckles vs. Jessie Belle Smothers with Tracey. Second worst match of the night . This was just awful. Tracy on the Mic was the best thing. By the way according to Tracey if you buy anything from Napa ever body Dies. Winner - Mickie Knuckles ( please bring her somebody to work.) 7. Seventh Match ( Tournament Match ) Adam Gooch vs. Ryan Howe I half to be honest I did not watch much of this match but at one point to my surprise the parts I did watch where not bad. Winner - Adam Gooch 8. Semi Main Event 2 Tuff Tony vs Lone Star Eugene Kaige Kutler
This was a fun match set up earlier when Lonestar picked on Napa's main guy not sure of his name. He would serve as special ref. Funny he did a better job than CCW refs. Eugene has lost a lot of weight. Like I said fun match with the good guys coming back to beat the bad. Winner - 2 Tuff Tony and Eugene 9. Main Event Fans Use a Strap Match Juicy Jimmy vs. Mad Man Pondo Basically Jimmy would get hit with the belts and Pondo would not. Both men would end up bleeding really good. Not a great match or even good but with the blood it was probably the talk around Napa. Winner - Juicy Jimmy

Thanks for the report, storm. It sounds as though the show would fall into the "so-so" category, with some things being pretty good and some things being really bad.
I'd say the biggest positive is the use of Shank and Cain. Those guys seem to have become the victims of the KY Buffet's politics in IWAU, so since they don't seem to be working in Olney on Wed. nights anymore, CCW could benefit from the feud they were having up there. It's a darn shame too about them not being used in IWAU anyway since Shank was, by far, the most over guy in that company and Cain was their biggest heel.
It's also nice to see Tracy Smothers back. I was beginning to wonder what had happened to him. Granted, his best days as a worker are behind him, but the guy's still gold on a mic. And plus, he's awesome just because he IS Tracy Smothers! Ha ha!!
Most of the rest of the stuff doesn't look overly impressive. I couldn't agree more with CCW bringing in someone to work a feud with Mickie. She's the best thing CCW has right and just having her in a feud with Jessie is such a waste! Heck, get some kind of an angle going between her and Shank and then there would be something well-worth seeing!
It's also nice to see Mitch Ryder back....however, him in a feud with Blue is also a waste of Ryder's talent!
Last time I saw Eugene was at that wrestling convention thing I went to in Philly back in April and yes, he's dropped a bunch of weight. I saw him sitting at a table and I didn't even recognize him.
Speaking of wastes, CCW really needs to stop bringing in Bull Pain. Granted, the guy's a bad*ss, but after what he did at the last show I attended, I don't have much desire to ever see him again.
It sounds as though CCW is still heading in the right direction, let's just see if they drop the ball or not. Only time will tell, I guess.

Hard to disagree with anything you said.
Not sure if Mitch, Tracey and Blue are back for good or just for the night.
I believe CCW is heading in the right direction. They hit a few bumps in the road now and then but for the most part they are moving forward.Sorry they took several steps back the night you and Ike came.
I do like the fact they have brought in Necro and Eugene.Hopefully that trend will continue. I would like to see them bring in a few more veterans from time to time like Renesto, L.T. Falk or Rudy Switchblade. They could also bring in a Legend from time to time to do autographs like Bob Orton,Rip Rodgers just to name a few. Understand I am not against using the young guys but just want to make sure CCW has a good mix and their not that far off.
Hard to say this, but I am with you on Pain. The N-word was to much.

Been on vaca and totally missed most of the build up to this show. Being that it was the commish's tribute show, i may have came had i been in town. Looks like the crowds are growing and someone FINALLY snagged a nice sponsor for the show. The shows dont look great, but they look WAY better than they could without the current people running the show. At least they are putting some effort into getting some talent in there. Ill keep my eye on the shows a little closer now that things appear to be on the up and up.
