There's actually a wrestler who calls himself "Skid Marks"? That reminds me of that guy who called himself "Pit Stain" from a few years ago. They should form a tag team! ;D

Cavedweller "Skid Marks " is Diamond Steel he earned the name on Tuff Enough. He is as awful on TV to watch as he is in person.
So June 1 is the start date for Jamie's promotion. I guess we will not mention the May 25 show that got canceled. Off to a great start and as for MECW which I have nothing personally against, but where they not going to be the next big thing in Evansville and run CCW out of business. It is all fun and games until wrestlers do not get paid.

You are gonna come on here saying CCW is done and then you mention the names you do? Jeez, thats a pathetic start. I aint discounting the fact they are legends, but man......

Jayboro; I agree with you. It is funny that the same wrestlers that did not draw that well at CCW under Jamie with the exception of the legends show are going to be in a new location with Jamie in charge and draw.

So THIS is going to FINALLY be the promotion to put CCW out of business? Yea right. They couldnt put asses in the seats at the Coliseum with zero overhead......add the overhead at a new location and i'll give it 2 months tops. Running a weekly show is a bad idea anywhere around here. If your going to run an actual legends show once of twice every few months, maybe, but weekly doesnt stand a chance........especially running wed night against an already loyal CCW following.

Ok where to start with this other than just laughter? Hmmmm... well first Jamie Dundee as promoter smells of failure alone. I'm not saying it will but his track record speaks for itself. Anytime he ever drew a profit it went up in dust. XCW... let's just say that Mitch has a hard time keeping buildings to run shows himself. MECW... well they can bring big names in but they just can get behind this making money to stay alive thing. So with three failures pooling their resources together, I am not to worried about the fates of CCW or NFW. Also Jamie if you have to post about your Legends of Wrestling fed do it in the other promotions forum, that is what it is for.

Man, that second sentance is sure saying a LOT!!! I'm not even going to ask how he "earned" that name. I don't think I wanna know. As for the post about this show, at least it's done something that hasn't been done for months around here.....got us talking.

"Skid Marks" was given to him by Hugh Morris himself. Booker T darn near ripped his head off on the show. While not being a huge mark for WWE, i enjoy tough enough. Stone Cold hosting makes it worth watching alone. I would have like to have seen MDogg given a little bit more air time, but lets be honest, dude has ZERO character. When your his size and trying to get into the WWE, you need just a little charisma.

I actually wanted to try to watch TE because of Steel and M-Dogg. But honestly, I rarely ever watch TV anymore and kept forgetting when it was on. I remember once seeing one of the winners from one of the first TE's at a shopping mall in Louisville, KY. I believe her name was Nidia or something like that. She was the one that was James Gibson's (or Jamie Nobel's) valet. This was right after she had won TE and OVW was still WWE's "developmental territory". She wasn't doing a "meet and greet" or anything...she was just there shopping.
Anyway, yeah, I agree with you about M-Dogg. I always thought he could pull off some pretty unique, high-flying moves, but he has the charisma of a doorknob. The one time I saw him in person (when he faced Drake Younger in IPW) he came out and was actually working the crowd and drawing heel heat. I think that was the first time I'd ever even heard the guy speak.

I'm not even going to ask how he "earned" that name. I don't think I wanna know. I am no fan of Ryan Howe aka Skid Marks. In fact, I find him awful. But he didn't actually do anything to earn the name on the show. It was just Bill Demont aka Hugh Morris trying to be Humorous and failing at it.
