I'm not going to say too much about the show, but here are the results:
Blue Monkey def. Matt Maverick
Mitch Ryder & Buzz Dupp (w/ J. Grunge) def. Austin Cane & Dr. Blue During the match, Ian Rotten and Ox Harley, who were both sitting in the audience (right behind me) stood up and got into Mitch Ryder's face and tried to start a fight with him. I nearly got involved in the angle! Ha ha!! The funniest part was when Ian said, "I doubled the house, because I bought a ticket!"
J.C. Ice & 2 Tuff Tony (w/Mickie Knuckles) def. Tracy Smothers & Tim Renesto
Mickie Knuckles def. Red Fox They never said Fox's name, so he might have spelled it "Redd Foxx"...I don't know. But, I'm just guessing since he came out to the "Sanford & Son" theme and since he was the same guy who was wearing a mask with another color and animal name earlier in the show...and also he was wearing a Fred Sanford shirt.
Main Event: Lonestar def. The Great Marcus to win the CCW title I didn't catch Marcus' last name, but wasn't he the same guy that used to be called Xavier Cage? Anyway, during the match, Lonestar got busted open and bled buckets of blood all over the place.

I'll throw in my 2 cents from last nite...beings i was there. I'll give CCW props ...judging from the usual shows I have occasionally checked out....the show last night was ....better. Don't get me wrong...it wasn't great. But I can see potential, especially with Ian being there. Please give him the book . funny, I was gonna say a lot more....but don't feel like putting forth the effort. LOL

A few things about the show.....They said it started late, but to me 8:07 was pretty good for CCW. The intermissions were short and that was a plus. The long intermissions always seem to be a problem for them. All in all i think there is a lot of build on right now, and they show wasnt as bad as i expected......
Blue Monkey/Maverick......not much to say here except, at least it was quick.
Dr Blue/Crane vs Buzz/Mitch.....ok why not team Blue Monkey and Dr Blue?? Blue and Crane are an odd team anyway. I would go with Team Blue and use Crane as the singles guy myself but whatever. Good to see Mitch back. His little deal with Ian was pretty cool honestly. Ian in the crowd is an awesome way to build that fued up. Im hopin to see the blowoff at the legends show.
Tony/Dundee v Tracy/Renesto....This match was pretty darn solid actually. Tracy is in better shape every time i see him and his mic skills are second to no man alive. Im a fan of Tim Rensto as well. He just has that presence. All in all, pretty solid stuff here.
Manatoba Maniac??/Mickey Knuckles.....crazy to say it, but i thought it was the best match of the night. Mickey used those awesome crossfaces and that killer german to make it awesome! Mickey is probably the best wrestler in the CCW lockeroom, period.
Lonestar/Micas......Micas is better than Xavier Cage. Meaning hes improved since the last time i saw him. I thought this was a solid main event myself. Lonestar really seemed like winning the belt was important at the end. I think he is a solid guy to hold the title.
All in all, there werent any matches that were just unwatchable, which is a plus. The Mitch/Ian thing, peaks my interest. Id love to see an IWA invasion angle vs Mitch's XCW and CCW. Being that Ian is running New Albany coming up and thats a town that Mitch has ran for the past few years def plants the seeds for that fued. I like it.

I didn't feel like putting forth the effort to say more about last night's show either, Morris. Honestly, it was better than average for a CCW show. However, there seemed to be a lot of "down time" with the late starting time and intermissions...for just five matches. When they took the first intermission after the first two matches, I even overheard Ian Rotten say, "We've been here an hour and a half and they've only had two matches." to Ox Harley.
The matches themselves were an improvement from other CCW shows I attended. At least Buzz has kept his promise to keep guys such as CJ Popp and Cody Strong off the show. As Ike said, there was nothing that was completely unwatchable. The Mickie/Manic (was that really his name???) was my favorite match of the night. Mickie is great! The Micus/Lonestar match was really stiff and brutal. Micus looked to be legit banged up after the match.
As much as I almost hate to say it, I thought Jamie Dundee looked pretty good last night. He sure seemed to be fired up anyway and showed more natural charisma then I've seen from him lately. He looked a lot more natural last night then he did those times when he came out to the ring in his old "JC Ice" get up or that cowboy outfit. Tracy and Renesto looked good too.
I don't know where they're going with the whole Ian Rotten thing. I hope there's bigger plans then just booking a match between him and Ox against Ryder and Buzz. I'm planning on going to the IWA:MS show in New Albany next week, so we'll see what happens.
