CCW should either close the doors or call Jason Briley and his crew back. Pathetic.

I don't disagree with you that CCW is pathetic. However I would like to hear your reasons as to why CCW is pathetic

Was the show particularly awful this week, or are you just going off of the facts in general? It has to have gotten pretty bad if even Lee can't be bothered to put up results and nuts anymore. Lee's usually all over everything in like a 3 state area

Reasons CCW is pathetic:
-Hardcore. -None of the matches make sense. -Very little talent on the roster. -Why is hardcore title more important than a wrestling title? -Titles areput on and taken off of wrestlers for all the wrong reasons. -They use untrained, backyard kids an call them wrestlers.
The people in charge are clueless and have never done anything in their "wrestling" careers to prove they are capable of booking a show or running a wrestling company.
And who cares about Pondo. Anybody off the street could put a stop sign in a chair and suplex someone on it. Thats not entertainment.

if we don't do hardcore the fans complain, who's the backyarders? everyone has been trained, if the veterans would bring talent in then we would have more "name" talent, the hardcore isnt more important its last because who wants 2 wrestle in glass (use your head man), i agree with you on the titles taken off and put on 4 no reason, and this is independent wrestling 90% of indy feds are ran by indy wrestlers whom have never been 2 the big time...You cant expect fvckin triple h to come to eville and run ccw get real...and who cares about pondo! he is one of the most popular wrestlers on the indy scene. do u watch wrestling besides wwe? my guess would be no...do u come 2 the shows on wednesday? what would u like 2 see..please let us kno..

but if u think the show is bad now does anyone remember the early ccw days? Terrible.....every match was hardcore or no DQ...pothead john and jc bailey was the only notable feud they had and remember big nasty? no. your not the only one...ian rotten saved ccw in 2004..b4 him ccw roster was-bad business brown was champ, big nasty, jc bailey (who is great in my opinion), pothead john, Sin (chris champion another legend and great wrestler), billy black, josh jewell ( the baker), anthony blaze, damage inc. ( viper and j they are awesome 2), and hammerjack...u almost never seen a technical match...i think the show has improved from the early days...

Fans complain when there isn't hardcore? Really? I take it you are one of the people in charge so here is what I think needs to happen to CCW. CCW needs a complete overhaul, starting with the owners. Then somone needs to come in to book that knows what todays wrestling fans want to see. Hardcore wrestling was a fad. A fad that faded about four years ago. Fans want to see wrestlers that can work a match that has a meaning. It tells a story. What story does hardcore tell? Can you answer that? Can anyone answer that? They need a booker who has contacts with the best indy wrestlers TODAY, not from 2003 or 2004. TODAY. Pondo isn't one of the most popular wrestlers on the indy circuit. HE works his shows and any other hardcore fed that can pay him. Who is untrained? Really? How about the female wrestlers from a couple of weeks ago, untrained. Billy Hardaway = untrained. Matt Maverick = untrained. Dr. Blue/Shawn whatever his name is = untrained. The show hasn't improved. It has regressed. The attendance proves it.

Im not in charge im Damien Devine...and yes people do complain when we don't have a hardcore match, some like hardcore just because u don't doesn't mean everyone else doesn't...so if u don't like hardcore matches then leave b4 the main event (very simple)...all those guys were trained, now whether or not they r good is a different story...billy hardaway was actually trained in for a few months with me under ian rotten...i agree with bringing in wrestlers that are popular today, but that takes $ and 2 get $ you have to have fans, but 2 have fans u need talent...so its a hard cycle 2 break...jason brought guys in but i heard (don't quote me) that not all of them got payed or it put the show in debt...and yes everyone who KNOWS wrestling knows pondo therefor making him popular...Pondo works NFW in eville which isn't hardcore by the way, so he works shows and matches that aren't hardcore aswell...those girls did suck i completely agree...but im gonna bring u a CCW tape from 2002 and show how much todays show is better than 2002 CCW...it may not have improved from earlier this year but it is leaps and bounds ahead of the early early CCW...i just hope my matches don't suck lol...

it ain't that CCW's going bad, I'm just too lazy to do result writing sometimes, so I can say CCW needs a dependable results writer these days, because I'm not that dependable anymore
now what else do I need to reply too?
not that I have anything against Briley "except that he couldn't find anybody else to haul Drake Younger and OMG to VIP" but he did phuck up some storyline, for a sample, Damage Inc. turned on Chris Phoenix and Mark Acker to join The Bad Boys, the fallowing week, Phoenix along with Cody Strong form team Excessive Force "a babyface team", then the fallowing they come out of the blue as heels without any explanation, then a few weeks later they win the tag team belts from Dr. Blue and CJ Popp "who seem like they were turning face" when Pothead comes out and cost Blue and Popp the tag team belts against the heel Excessive Force, then the fallowing week, Eccessive Force and Pothead are all babyface "now, somebody tell how that makes scense"
Pondo does equal ratings, their are a lot of Juggalos that come to see Mad Man Pando, and I believe their are more Juggalos than independent wrestling fans, under the short-lived XCW Ground Zero in Memphis Indiana, the night we had Pondo vs. 2 Tuff Tony "May 17th a/k/a Battle Of The Juggalos" , there were the most people in the crowd that night than any other show, they were blocking my camera view during that match "copies on sale at Mitch Ryder's gimmick table" and I like the way he insults people, he comes up with sh!t I wouldn't even dream of saying so yeah, Pondo equals ratings in my book

Wrestling in Evansville has been dead since 1995. Give it up. Throw the last shovel of dirt on Evansville wrestling and let there bingo run on Wednesday nights at the Coliseum. No great loss.

FYI - Ian Rotten isn't the answer either. He couldn't put a hundred asses in the seats with Phil Jack, Danielson, AJ, Sydal, Strong, Delirious, Shelley, Petey, Sabin, or Hero. Where were these so-called glory days of CCW when Ian booked the show?
September 15, 2004–IWA Mid South – A Phenomenal Invasion in Evansville, IN before 68 fans: Danny Daniels b Eddie Kingston, MsChif won three-way over Tracy Brooks and Mickie Knuckles, Nate Webb b B-Boy, Mad Man Pondo & Cash Flo b 2 Tuff Tony & Corporal Robinson in a tables elimination match, Steve Stone b J.C. Bailey, Arik Cannon b Roderick Strong, Claudio Castagnoli b Alex Shelley, A.J. Styles b Matt Sydal, Chris Hero d Bryan Danielson roughly 30:00 in a 2/3 fall match, Petey Williams b C.M. Punk to keep IWA title..

Pondo is a good draw. And it's not just about him and his skill really, usually wherever pondo goes, more talent follows. He always has someone awesome from out of the country traveling with him. And as far as the "anyone can use a stop sign" comment, anyone can cut themselves open, but pondo is one of many people who have a ton more charisma and does more than just bleeds and hits people with things.
CCW fans definately complain when there isn't hardcore. If the hardcore matches stop, attendance goes down even further.
I don't know about ALL of the current talent at CCW, but most of the guys that are referred to as "backyard kids" are actually trained to certain degrees. You might not like they way they work, and they might not be good, but that doesn't mean they aren't trained.
I think evansville is just a suck hole at this point. I'd rather have like 4 shows a year with big names on it than a crappy weekly show that is barely hanging in there. I'd love to see a card like Phenomenal Invasion come to town, but it obviously won't work every week or even every month with the costs it demands combined with the lack of fans. We know there are fans here who want to see great wrestling, the casual fans just don't really ever show up. I'd pay $20 to see a ROH or 2004ish IWA show here instead of $10 for CCW/NFW/etc. Hell, even a bi-yearly supershow for like $40 admission would be worth it to me.

u must have not went 2 ccw shows when ian was booking judge because he did draw over 100...iwa's invasion ran on a wednesday against ccw when he got fired...ccw offered $5 tickets to the fans who came...being that they ran against each other on the same nite and iwa really didn't promote the invasion show is what resulted in a low draw...very simple if u don't promote no1 knows about the show...u can be giving away $1,000,000 but if u don't tell any1 no1 knows u are giving $ away...
