It may not amount to anything, but there is word they have a big announcement coming today. It is yet to be seen if they will actually put on a show without it getting canceled, but i'll keep an eye on what they have to say.

No IWA:MS news yet, but I too have heard that something is coming from then. The rumor I'm hearing is that Ian's planning to do a KOTDM somewhere on the Indiana side of the Louisville area, but I have no idea if there's any truth to that or not. Since this post isn't about anything too specific, I thought this would be a decent place to post some updated info about some indy wrestling-related things I've been doing and will be doing in the near future. First of all, I spent Sat. in Alabama at the IWA:DS Carnage Cup. Man, that was an INSANE show!!! So much crazy, strange, silly and just plain goofy things happened at that show that I don't even think I can write a full report. The darn thing lasted SIX F'IN' HOURS!!!!!!!!!! I didn't leave that place until 1:30 in the morning and had to drive five hours back home. I'm still feeling the effects and trying to recover, but it was a fun (and VERY strange) night, that's for sure. Anyway, there's been quite a few updates to the March 12th ACW/St. Louis Anarchy show. ACW just ran a show in Texas last weekend, so now they're focusing on the St. Louis show. Here's the matches they have listed so far: ACW Championship: Davey Vega vs. Matthew Palmer Scot Summers, Matt Walsh & ACH vs. The Submission Squad (Gary Jay, Pierre Abernathy & Even Gilestico) Darin Childs vs. Shawn Vexx Rachel Summerlyn & Jessica James vs. MsChif & Daziee Haze vs. Portia Perez & Super Electro Delirious vs. Skyler Skelly Athena vs. Lady Poison The bad news though is that it appears as though Masada is now off the show. As of a week ago, Masada is a father now, so I can't say I blame him for taking a break and not wanting to travel too far from home. Also, Arik Cannon and Darin Corbin are booked to work an AAW show in Chicago that night, so they won't be there either. Even though there are quite a few names on the show that I know little about, I have been looking up info on ACW and all of these matches should be good and I'm sure more will be announced. My guess is that Dingo will be a part of it and I'm hoping they can bring back Akira Tozawa. They've posted some pretty cool videos on You Tube hyping the show that can be found here: darinchildsfallfromgrace.blogspot.com/In other news, I got my tickets in the mail today for the wXW/CZW shows in Philly in April and it's been announced that the wXw show is going to feature Daisuke Sekimoto vs. CHRIS F'IN' HERO!!!! ....not that I'm bragging...ok, well, maybe I am.....just a little....

More announcements still to come!
And April 8th is the day I'm traveling to Philly....so, that leaves me out, but I hope this show happens and is actually a success so they can run more shows in Selvin. That sure is quite a line-up of talent already announced, but given the recent history of Ian and IWA:MS, I'm sure not changing any of my plans because who knows if this will actually happen or not.
I just checked again and apparently, they've announced and show in Clarksville too:

Ha i came here to post it and you beat me to it. IWA is back and pretty darn close too. Now the real question is, will the shows happen? If they do, thats a pretty solid start on talent!

As I said before, I'm certainly not changing my plans for that weekend just to plan to go to a show that might not even happen. It would be a different story if I had nothing else to do that weekend.

I saw where that Vince dude that helps out in IWA said they wanted to be 100% sure of everything before they announced anything. Not that that really means anything at all but it seems like they want to do things right this time. That being said, id not cancel any plans for an IWA show when the last 4-5 have been canceled and/or half the talent booked hasnt showed up.

Ike, thanks for the post. I am making plans to attend The Selvin show if not both. Both cards seem really good, just hope they have a show this time.
Now that Jamie and the Legends shows seem to be done not buying it though because they went through this last year. Regardless I would hope CCW would bring in Ian to run a few IWA-MS shows in place of the legends show or at least a JCW show once in a while.

It really kills me that I can't make it to either of these shows. But, I also can't pass up a chance to see Jun Kasai and Deisuke Sekimoto, two of my top favorite guys from Japan (hopefully, they'll still be able to make it to Philly that weekend, considering what's going on in Japan right now, but I haven't heard any word that they're NOT going to be there). I just hope that if these shows even happen (and I'll believe it when I see it!) that they're successful enough that Ian can run more shows like these around this area. For all the scumbag things Ian has done, the fact is that the guy has the connections to bring in talent that I enjoy watching.
