The card posted was not correct the person we had post the card mis read what was suppose to be posted. We promise u wont be disappointed with the show we have planned. I agree though i looked at the card after some of these posts and it was definately a miscommunication between our helper and the booking comm.

This could be the biggest BS post this board has ever seen. After taking hits for two days, these dudes have decided that the fans know more than they do about booking a wrestling show and decided to change it. Then blame it on their scape goat. Who didn't see THAT coming? And why would JP WANT to work for these guys? He wrestles guys like Tony Kozina and Steve-O in MECW. Why would he want to job to CJ Popp in CCW?

I normally pay no attention to the idiots on the internet but i have set back and watched u goofs trash and bash ccw for over a yr now and i cant understand y or maybe i do i have bn in the wrestling business for 9 plus yrs now and i have learned in that time theat when it comes to the internet marks trashing different shows its because of a couple of reasons (1) Either ur a nutsty as worker who has gotten fired from the promotions u bash or u cant get booked for those promotoions u bash and(2) u tried ur hand in the business and couldnt hack it, so now u set behind a moniter and bash the very shows that bust there ass to bring the wrestling fans great action... As far as the card goes i dont know where u goofs got it but im the booker of ccw and i havent posted a card however if u want to find out then buy a ticket better yet ill let u in free all u have to do is post under ur real name as i have but i have nothing to worry about cause none of u have the balls to do so.. When it comes to CCW we r hear to stay no matter what anyone says so dont forget we r at 300 court st evansville indiana 47708 we run every wed night doors open at 6 and bell time is 730 tickets r just 10 dollars

Never had anything against Buzz Dupp. Never had a problem with his ring work. That being said, if you are really him, i do have a problem with your thoughts. The term internet mark sure gets tossed around a lot. The fact of the matter is if you work at CCW and your not Tracy Smothers, Jamie Dundee or Mitch Ryder, there is a pretty good chance you too are a mark. Im fairly confident most workers at CCW have day jobs, which makes you a mark. That just shows you love wrestling. Just like me. Granted im a fan and your a worker but there isnt all that much different because without paying fans like me, wrestling would cease to exist. If i get on here and want to bash something ive paid to see, well im going to say i have the right. If your the ine that keeps bookin CJ Popp, id just ask why? Does he have somethin on you? Is he related to you? Because you obviously havent watched him work a match. Thats nothing personal against the kid, its just i dont feel he is worth the 10$ i paid to get in. If hes working to get better then maybe that needs to be before the actual show starts. In the end, your attitude toward the fans is not what i would expect from someone running a business that depends on the fans. No, your right, Steve Turner wont be coming tomorrow. Free ticket or not. Who knows what id be getting?? If your that confident in your product post a card. Its as simple as me not thinking a lot of those guys listed in the higher profile matches are worth my money. Id love to see Necro and company back in CCW but not if they are in matches with guys that cant carry a match. Its nothing personal at all. I just wanted to explain where im coming from.

" If hes working to get better then maybe that needs to be before the actual show starts" That is exactly right. I pretty much agree with everything you said but if anything you were too kind. When I first moved to Evansville I knew nothing about the indy scene here and I went to one CCW show. One was more than enough. It was painfully obvious that except for a couple of old NWA guys no one was trained or they were very poorly trained. I was actually approached by one of the staff and asked what I thought of the show. I asked if any of these workers have actually been trained. His reply was some are and some aren't. I was surprised he actually would admit that. And before someone replies and bashes me and calls me a liar, I will let you know you are wasting your time because I am not getting sucked into a flame war, there is no reason for me to lie, and anyone who knows the very least about the wrestling business and how someone properly trained "works" can tell what the story is by the use of their own two eyes. I think they may have been using some OVW guys for a while now, I am not referring to any of those guys, I know they were trained by Rip, Nick, or Joey and have had proper training. Just my 2 cents on the matter.

i have learned in that time theat when it comes to the internet marks trashing different shows its because of a couple of reasons (1) Either ur a nutsty as worker who has gotten fired from the promotions u bash or u cant get booked for those promotoions u bash and(2) u tried ur hand in the business and couldnt hack it, so now u set behind a moniter and bash the very shows that bust there ass to bring the wrestling fans great action... So what you are saying is that only the above described person would bash CCW? Really? Are you guys that arrogant? You don't believe the fans would bash the product CCW puts out? You are all sheep if you believe that. Its seems like the people booking ccw follow and are afraid to lead. maybe they know what happens when someone tries to lead.

u guys r right if u pay money to watch u have the right to bash any show u wish it just seems that its always ccw mayb because we try to use and showcase the local talent adn yes many of them could and shoud go through additional training but the only way to get better in this business is with ring experience with or without a crowd... i am trying to bring in guys that can produce in the ring but i always feel that in order to draw local fans u must use local talent but i do agree that some need alot of work thats why i try to put them with guys like tracy smothers, jamie dundee, mitch ryder, tim renesto who is coming back to ccw soon. I know that u get what u pay for and by using the local guys that only get paid 10 bucks if that. the product is less than satisfactory but i also know that if im paying out more than the door is bring in like most shows in the area then that is bad business for me. again just like u guys who pay money and put ur opinions on here i have my opinion on some of u but i do agree ccw nees a make over and im tryin to weed out the guys that i kno need more experience and i offer all the ring time on tuesdays when jamie has his school and its open to any wrestler that wants to come and get better no matter what promotion u work for. I just dont understand how u guys can say ccw is dead look at the numbers we average 60 to 80 a week paid i have the stubs to prove it if u add that up its around 300 a month which is close if not better than any other show that runs only once a month with a much higher payroll than i have. as far as posting a card im a one man show here i cant do it all but it someone wants to help im not above letting u lol... i really dont care if u bash the guys if they deserve it but bash teh guys and not the company

You may average 60-80 a week, but that doesn't average out to 300 a month. Here is why, your fans are repeats. They pay four times a month. Thats not 300 fans a month, thats 60-80 fans paying four times a month. I don't know that much abvout any other show in town. I know that the only expenses ccw has is payout and if you are making $600 a week at the door, and only paying most of the guys $10 a night, that leaves a lot of money left for promotion or better talent.

Nice response Buzz. I can respect that. I dont care about $ or gate or any of that crap. Ive said it time in and time out, i just wanna see good talent. When i leave the show I want to feel like i got my money's worth. I cant see me getting that tonight with the guys I want to see(Necro/Pondo/Thomaselli's) in matches with guys who cant run with them. I understand your point about using your talent against better talent to help them learn but in the end, the match quality on tonights show isnt looking to good. Just keep on keepin on and try to keep some of us marks in the know because id be up for coming to CCW on weeks where i knew the card.

I am glad to see you try to give guys ring time outside of shows. I think you are wrong in you don't think a card is that important. It is not much hype for a show but it is still hype. Hype is good. As far as help, try posting "internship" offers at theses colleges around here. "Internship" is wrestle speak for you work your ass off for no pay but you see the show for free. I heard your radio commercial, good start. Try to allow money to continue that as often as money allows. As far as CCW gets nuts on, the others don't here is my 2 cents on the others. V.I.P - Had some good workers and some good matches. A couple of guys added nothing and needed dropped. The production value was bad. The marketing and promoting started out spotty and went to non existent. The security walked around aimlessly and block your view. The owner looked like he was overwhelmed. It is alright to be overwhelmed but don't make it so noticeable. Sends a bad message to the public and the locker room. Over promised and under delivered. NFW - The time I went they drew well but the show was pretty bad. They bring in names people may want to see. They advertised a lot on the radio but I don't think they do anymore. The show seemed to last 4 hours and have 20 matches. Quantity will not make up for quality, way over booked. Should cut the number of people used in half and in the process weed out the yarders, badly trained, and senior citizens who can't hardly walk let alone wrestle anymore. MECW - Has promise but only more shows under the belt will tell the story. Brought in names I would think people would want to see. Used some decent indy guys. Have some guys that seem to have been trained poorly and need a lot of improvement but they at least kept then at the bottom of the card. Production value was good for an indy but could always be better. Need a banner with the name and website on the ring or a wall. announcer did a good job of plugging the website and he was easy to understand. 90% of indys and even big boys house shows you can't understand what is being said on the sound system. They blew their wad advertising the first show every week for months instead of saving some back for future shows. Two weeks or so leading in would have been plenty. If you watch RAW, Smackdown, and Impact everyweek you would see the ad and either go or not go. The over kill was a waste of money. After the first show the advertising has been weak. I thought the show was pretty good but they are putting more money out than they are taking in. I look for them to run out of money and not run or drop the quality of workers. I hope that don't happen because I think they are getting a lot of things right. They really need to improve their draw to match the money spent on bringing in names however. They have one of the best looking websites I have seen for an indy. They need to be rotating more promo and hype stuff to keep people coming back. They need to do a better job of giving you a reason to come to the next show besides just bringing in a name. That will get old quick. Also if you are going to use handcuffs in a match don't buy them at the Dollar Tree and practice how to put tmem on and take them off before the d**n match, killed the whole match. Canadian Cougar needs a better f**king mask or change his name to Captain Obvious. The little kids behind me told me he was not doing very good because he was still tired from the first match. Just my 2 cents.

thanks guys yes my last post was mor thougth out my first was more anger because i started with ccw when i first came to evansville and every show that has popped up since my time in ccw its because guys that have got fired or couldnt get booked with ccw decided to start there own show and after time with exception on new focus has folded and those guys have crawled back trying whastever to get back in at ccw but my numbers r correct (logical)i mean isnt that the name of the game to have a loyal fan base that comes to every show and then try to add to that fan base i mean come on if u watch tna u see the same front row fans every week granted the fans probally dont pay just like when tna was in nashville but still the same fans at every show thats all u can expect (logical) but again big changes in ccw r coming and i like that internship idea thanks for the advice again 300 court st doors open at 6 bell time 730 c u at the matches.
