Hey all...
I very much appreciate everyone's confidence in my abilities and that I could be behind this...
However, this project has grown to be bigger than me!
I have actually agreed to be a part of the roster for Main Event Championship Wrestling... but, currently will only be in the capacity of a wrestler on the roster.
There are much bigger players in this than I. Minds from down south... to minds from up north.
I wish much success to MECW. It is time for an alternative!!

I have heard different things about this new MECW. I have heard that it was started by Jason Briley and I have heard that big money people have come in and taken it over in an effort to start something big.
Whatever the case may be, it looks like there may be something big on the horizon. Or there may be a one show wonder on the horizon. I guess we will see.

Main Event Championship Wrestling V1.0 circa 2001 had quite a bit of veteran, name talent. Unfortunately, MECW was over before it started.
Good luck to MECW V2.0

FYI to all...
I worked in the "office" with Tracy Smothers, Curt Hennig, Chris Harris, Terry Taylor, Sandman, Chase Stevens... Mark and Jeff... in Illinois trying to get the "V1.0" off the ground. It failed because a money mark ran out of money and had no clue about the wrestling business and always wanted to blow all of his money on limos for appearances!
I can assure you all, Collins has nothing to do with this one. This company is made up of many people who actually have a clue about the wrestling business and have the financial resources to back it up. I truly believe all the right things will be done with this opportunity. Haters can bash, the curious can question ... but when it's all said and done ... we will have a place in Evansville, IN where Evansville wrestling fans and real workers can have fun again!!
See you at the shows... Thanks, Jason
