I remember the time that Necro battled Manslaughter across the street on the courthouse lawn and then pulled the stop sign out of the ground and used the pole as a weapon on manslaughter. He then pinned him on the bus stop bench for the win. Good times!

Seems I have missed allot of post, but have and still battling kidney stones. I want to say I will also be at the show and am looking forward to it. I believe it has been so long since so many have looked forward to a CCW show.
For me it will be my first time seeing, The Irish AirBourne in person. I was watching a match of theirs the other day that came on a sample DVD I bought from Smart Mark. The biggest surprise was Cavedweller in the crowed.
I was also happy to see Siren on the card. I saw her on a backyarder card and thought she would be perfect to face Mickey. She is pretty green but I thought if used right she could destroy Mickey for a few weeks. Kinda like a Kamala was used against Lawler. Then Mickey would get her revenge in the end.
Sorry guys I am pumped also.

Man, I wish those old CCW shows were available on DVD. I'd buy those suckers in a heartbeat! I would have LOVED to see that Necro/Manslaughter brawl. If only I had been smart enough to go to those shows back then! I hope something like that happens on Wed. and it looks as though there might be a chance. The closest I ever got to something like that was at an IPW show last Summer. Jon Moxley and Jimmy Jacobs fought out on Shelby St. The security guys were trying to keep everyone from going out in the street so the only people who got close to the action was the camera guy....and me! It was, in an odd way, a beautiful scene seeing two bloody guys beating the crap out of each other with the nighttime Indianapolis skyline in the background. I believe that match got chosen to be on Moxley's "Best of" DVD that Smart Mark just put out. I recently got that DVD but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. That's cool that you've never seen Irish Airborne in person yet, storm. Get ready...you should be impressed! I know what match was on that SMV comp DVD you have. That was IA's match against Hallowicked and Frightmare that happened at IWA:East Coast's anniversary show in Nov. 2009. That was an AWESOME match....by far, one of the best live matches I've ever seen. That took place at a place called Pumpkin Park in a town named Milton, West Virginia. One of the biggest things I remember from that night was how cold it was in that place. I froze my b*lls off in there! That was also the night that I met Terry Funk (SUPER nice guy!!) and I remember talking to Jimmy Clough (now known as Juicy Jimmy) while waiting in line to go to the bathroom. That whole show was great! Anyway, I've never heard of that Siren chick before but if she has the ability to match up with Mickie, then I'm more than interested to see what she can do.

Sorry Cavedweller Siren is way to green to match up with Mickey in a straight up match. How ever if they did a couple of weeks where Siren would beat Micky down a few weeks in a row with Mickey getting her revenge in the end then it would work. Hopefully the six man will cover up the greenness but at least she Gert's an opportunity. I will say she had a cool entrance.
Yes that was the match you are also on the Scotty Vortekz vs. Thumbtack Jack from IWA Deep South. I Just thought it was pretty cool. Speaking of DVDS would love to see them do a best of CCW DVD or history of.
I am so looking forward to this show and have not been this excited in awhile plus the Kidney Stone has been hurting less.

Sorry, I misinterpreted what you were saying, storm. I got ya now. I'm interested to see what she can do, none-the-less.
Yep, that Deep South match was from the '09 Carnage Cup. The biggest thing I remember from that match was that headbutt that Jack did on Vortekz. I can't remember if you can see me on camera or not, but when he did that, I about fell over from cringing so hard. Just thinking of the dull thud sound it made when their heads hit together still sends shivers down my spine....literally!! OUCH!!!!!

Since I didn't write down the results as they happened, I thought I'd go ahead and post them before I forget what happened....and believe me, I'm not going to be saving this show too deep in my memory bank. If there's one word that can describe the show tonight, it would be "disappointing".
As usual, the show started late. That is something I've come to expect from just about any indy wrestling show, especially CCW. However, what I didn't expect was that the show was going to kicked off by a group of ICP wanna-bes doing....well, whatever the heck it is that ICP wanna-bes do. Granted, this wasn't my cup of tea (so to speak), but in all fairness, I honestly have no problem with all of that since I know the whole ICP/Juggalo thing is pretty popular in this area. HOWEVER....after waiting 40 minutes past the start time, this was the LAST thing I wanted to sit through for another 25 minutes. Had this been done as a "pre-show" thing and everything was starting at least somewhat closer to the actual start time, I probably wouldn't have been joining in on the "WE WANT WRESTLING!!!" chant. What made this even worse was that only about 10% of the crowd (if even that) even cared about it. Not a good way to start off a show.
After all of that, Walt came out and sang the National Anthem. He then brought out the kids who are, I guess, running the show now....for some reason and they named Walt as the new commissioner of CCW. Ok...whatever....on to the matches...
Mr. A vs Kyle Maverick Mr. A was Guido Andretti in a mask. I don't know anything about Maverick He sort of looked a bit like a smaller Matt Sydel. A won with his feet on the ropes. After the match, this one guy who I've seen at every CCW show I've attended and have no idea what his name is came into the ring and attacked Maverick. Father Jay ran out and made the save.
Juicy Jimmy Feltcher & Alister Fear (w/some manager guy) vs. Micus Silva & Hyzaya Fear came out wearing a dress and Jimmy was calling him his "b*tch". I'm guessing that some sort of stipulation from one of their recent matches. Silva and Hyzaya made a decent team. Hyzaya looked in great shape. The match, however, was pretty boring. Sooooooo much stalling. For whatever it's worth, Jimmy does play his character well and drew some good heel heat but this match was just so darn slow. Hyzaya did pull off a nice dive over the top rope. In the end, Silva tried to hit Fear with a swanton bomb, but pretty much missed, but still got the pin anyway. After the match, Jimmy and his manager beat down Fear.
? vs. Bull Pain Next, the guy who attacked Maverick in the first came out and cut a promo about beating anyone and everyone, which brought out Bull Pain. I guess you could call this a match, but really it was just Bull beating the living sh*t out of the kid and no-selling anything the kid tried to do.....yep, a typical Bull Pain match. Needless to say, Bull got the win. Now, it'll be interesting to see if Bull shows up on any radio shows and b*tches about how he's going to beat the crap out of the Acker family because they owe him $20 and a hot dog for doing this show.
Next was an intermission. Perfect Storm came up and introduced himself to me. It was cool to meet you, bro. I've seen you at several shows and never put your name and person together.
After the intermission, Adam Gooch and Kaige Kutler came out and did a promo. They drew some monster heel heat and worked up the crowd well. I've only seen a few of Gooch's matches from back in the old IWA:MS days, but at least tonight he looked more like a wrestler then he did back then.
Lonestar, JP Lightning & Siren vs. Mickie Knuckles, Too Tuff Tony and a mystery partner (Scarlett Rose as the ref) Everyone (at least on my side) was literally BEGGING for the mystery partner to be Corp. Robinson. While I've never been a huge Robinson fan, I have to admit that he would have been worlds better then who they brought out....Ryan "Diamond 'Skid Marks' Steele" Howe and Jessie Belle Smothers?? Yikes! Let the true disappointments begin! All I can say about Howe is a Diamond Steele by any other name still sucks....BIG TIME!!!! The match was nothing special at all. JP looked to be in pretty good shape since the last time I saw him and he actually worked a heel gimmick pretty well. Siren was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! When she first ran into the ring at Mickie, Mickie tripped her and she fell the wrong way and then no-sold a back senton. Oh....I was so hoping for a Mike Levy-esque beatdown! Too bad Devon Moore wasn't anywhere to be found. Anyway, Sh*t Marks was horrible as well and botched several moves. After sitting through this match, I believe that JP should have been the one to get the shot on "Tough Enough", but hey, what do I know? Mickie looked good though....though she didn't get much offense, she did take a h*ll of a beating and sold like a million bucks. Lonestar and Tony were just there and didn't add much to the match. In the end, the match broke down into a brawl and during it all, Jessie Belle ended up turning on Sh*t Marks and hit a low-blow on him. After the match, Mickie said she was going to have revenge for Sh*t Marks' balls.....man, I wish I was making that up, but it really did happen!
Shank Barzini & Matt Atreya (w/ some other manager guy) vs. ?? Shank and Atreya were suppose to be facing The Irish Airbourne, however, major disappointment #2 happened.....AI didn't show up and were replaced by Micus Silva & Hyzaya. I have no problem with Silva and Hyzaya, but man, I was looking forward to seeing AI. There wasn't much of any real interest in the match. The best part of the manager who was sort of a cross between James Mitchell and Scotty Moore (the lead singer of the swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy....I've talked to him a bunch of times over the years....cool guy!) Shank and Atreya made for a decent team and they ended up getting the win. While the match itself wasn't exactly terrible, the loss of AI from the match killed any hope I had of enjoying the match from the get-go.
Main Event Madman Pondo & Necro Butcher vs. Adam Gooch & Kaige Kutler After all the crap I sat through on this show, this match was worth my $8. It was a pure brawl that went everywhere you can imagine. I ended up whipping my camera out and when it was all said and done, I had taken literally over 50 pictures! Yep....I'm a blood mark....don't like it? Don't care! Ha ha!!! Anyway, the highlight for me was when they all went outside and were fighting on Court Street. Pondo ended up running across the street and got a traffic cone to use while Necro crotched Gooch on a street light. When Pondo got back, they were fighting in front of the side of the Coliseum. I got pretty close to Necro and he looked as though he wanted to take the action over to the Courthouse, but there were just too many people around. Gooch did a dive off the side of the Coliseum and at some point, Pondo tried to pin Kutler on the grass. At another point, Necro throw Gooch into the bushes and said, "Ha ha! I threw him into the itchy grass!" Gotta love Necro!!!! When they made their way back in, they continued to brawl. At one point, Kutler threw Pondo into a barbed-wire board while Necro threw a bunch of junk into the ring. Gooch hit Necro HARD with a VCR. Necro was bleeding buckets right in front of me. Back in the ring, Pondo hit Gooch with the stop sign and then Necro tiger bombed him on the sign and got the pin.
After the match, Pondo cut a promo about how he knew we wanted to see Necro back in CCW and got us to give him a "Please come back!" chant.
On the way out, I was walking in front of the O'boys and I heard Ike say that this is how most CCW shows were back in the day.....they'd sit through a bunch of crap and then Necro would come out and save the show. While I agree with that and totally enjoyed the main event, I honestly don't know how excited I'm going to be to sit through all the other junk that happened on this show anytime again soon. However, that being said, if Necro is brought back, the blood mark in me just won't be able to stay away and and I know I'll probably go again....just to see him.

Dweller pretty much summed it up.....
-The rap show to start things made me want to go outside.....it was flippin terrible. Im not a fan of rap, especially that style and on top of that, the sound system is god awful and you couldnt even hear anything they were saying and there was tons of feedback. Not a way to set the tone for the show, with a hostile crowd booing them off the stage and the rappers making threats to the crowd.
-Kyle Maverick....aka Tommy Thompson, ref from IWA MS back in the day, looked like he is coming along well. I think he would be a solid addition to CCW's roster. Guido on the other hand, well i'll just leave it with, im not a fan. Match pretty much sucked balls.
-Jucy Jimmy/Alister storyline is a good one. Dragging it out for like 30 minutes is a bad idea tho. The crowd seemed real hot for the angle until it went on and on and on and on and...........jesus just get it over with already.
-The Bull Pain crap. You know, i used to really be a fan of Bull back in his IWA MS days, but when i see him on the card these days i know you arent going to get much. This was a beat down of a kid, not a wrestling match. Then it went on and on and on and on and on........i mean we get the point. It was flippin brutally bad. Not to mention, Bull dropped the "N" word a few times and that to me was totally un-called for. Especially with some black kids sitting in the front row. I have to say, i lost a little respect for him after that.
-6 man match had its moments, but a 6 man in CCW, especially when you adding Skidmarks and some lady who i will not refer to as a wrestler into the mix.......trainwreck. It was total chaos in the ring most of the time. JP working heel is good. Star is always solid and IMO, Mickie is the best worker male or female CCW has to offer. That being said, to much clusterfudge. At this point im just banking on Irish Airborne and Necro to save the night.
-THEN Irish Airborne no shows us. And like Dweller said, ive got no beef with Hyzaya or Silva BUT they arent the Irish Airborne. At this point it didnt really matter what kind of match they had because i didnt care. Shank has really gotten better and his partner looked solid. Hope CCW keeps using both of them.
-The cool part was Necro of course. I mean Gooch and his partner did a great job making the crowd want to see them get whipped. But Necro was Necro. He took some crazy shots and chopped Gooch harder than ive ever seen another human chop another human. Gooch's chest was literally a purpleish brown color. NASTY. Thanks Necro for giving me my 8$ worth at least!
-CCW is CCW. No matter who runs it, its just CCW. The talent is in place to have solid shows. You have Jimmy, Alister, Maverick, Silva, Hyzaya, Simon(not tonight), JP, Mickie, Star, Tony, Pondo, Shank, etc. That being said, tonight was BAD. Like so bad, most of the people with me had deemed they were retiring from the indy wrestling fandom game. I think with a little direction, the shows can be good. Maybe it was just an off night or what not, but i expected much much more. Ill keep my eye on the talent and if some peeps pop up im interested in, i may be back in the seats. Hope the kids there continue to get a shot because i think they could really help turn things around.
-and yea Dweller, that was kind of what it was like. But it wasnt that bad. I mean tonight was kind of like old times, with the Sick Freaks on their side of the ring and ogirl Kelly back sittin with us, but it wasnt quite that bad back in the day. I mean we always had Hero and usually JC too. Sprinkle in some American Kickboxer, Apollo Star, Mitch Ryder, Bart Sawyer etc and you had a solid little show. But the great Hardcore to end the show was def what it was like. Necro would always give you everything he had if the crowd was 20 or 200. You have to respect that!

I'm still curious to know how that Juggalo group got a pre-show spot? Only about ten fans, if even that many, even wanted to hear that crap. Which is exactly what it was, crap. What made it better is that in a truly "professional" matter, they threatened to f**k everyone up who was booing.
Overall, though, I enjoyed the wrestling portion of the show a lot. There was a lot of fan-wrestler interaction, which you rarely get with bigger shows. It wasn't the best event in the world, but I mean, I paid eight bucks and walked away with some good photos. That's enough for me to go back the next time I get a Wednesday night off.

I didn't even realize that Maverick was Tommy Thompson from IWA:MS. That's pretty cool. He had a good look and showed potential to be decent....however, being stuck in the ring with Guido didn't give him much of a chance to show what he can do. I'll have to keep an eye out for him in the future.
I have to admit that Bull Pain's use of the "N word" kinda made me a bit uncomfortable too. I respect Bull for what he's done in the business and how long he's been around. But honestly, the only times I have ever seen him have good matches recently were when he was in deathmatches with guys who have also been doing deathmatches for a while such as Necro (KOTDM '09) and Balls Mahoney (KOTDM '10....and that one wasn't all THAT great). It seems as though if he's not in the ring with anyone who's legit tough and has been in the business a minimum of 10 years, you're pretty much going to get what we got last night.
As for Siren, I forgot to mention in my report that she reminded me of Roseanne Barr...and "wrestled" (I use that term loosely) about as well as Barr probably would as well.
I honestly think the thing that disappointed and frustrated me the most about last night was how much talent CCW had to work with for that show....and they totally dropped the ball. I mean, almost every match had someone in it that can pull off at least a decent, entertaining match and all of it was wasted on stalling and putting people with real talent in the ring with people who should have had to pay $8 to even be in the building like the rest of us. When you think about it, other than Necro and Pondo's match, the only other match where everyone in the ring knows how to work well was the Shank/Matt vs. Hyzaya/Silva match....and that was ruined by the fact that we were all looking forward to seeing Irish Airborne.
As for the rap thing....it's like I've always said, to each is own and whatever someone likes is their thing and they should be proud of it, even if someone else hates it. I just wish there had been some kind of warning about it by saying something to the effect, "For the next 25 minutes, some guys are going to come up here and scream over drumbeats they downloaded off the Internet. So, if that's not your thing, you might wanna go wait outside for a little while before the wrestling starts." I just honestly don't understand the whole ICP/Juggalo thing. I mean, I understand why wrestlers work JCW shows...because there's money to be made so I don't blame them for working those shows. But man, they could book a full-on deathmatch tournament with the entire roster of Big Japan Wrestling for their next Gathering in Illinois and even I would have to pass on going. Over on the CZW fans message board they have a thread all about the stupid things the Juggalos do and it's so entertaining because that whole scene is just so stupid. Anyway...yeah, I didn't enjoy that portion of the show.
Overall, while I can't say I enjoyed the show, Necro's match was enough to make me feel as though I got my $8 worth of entertainment. So, if he does come back, I'll be there. I'm looking forward to seeing him again in two weeks at TOD in Delaware. I just wish that things had gone a bit better last night....oh well!

Ah, that CZW fans board...always a source of meaningful and sometimes timely material.....or not. BUT, someone did post this and considering what we all sat through on Wed. night, this just seems perfect to share. However, I must warn that after plowing through this web site, I'm not sure if I feel as though I want to laugh, cry or throw up. I will say that picture #5 pretty much sums up the whole thing.....N'Joy!! www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/the-50-best-juggalo-pictures-of-2010
