I would like to take this time to apologize if i offended anyone . I have been under a tremendous amount of stress lately and i lost my cool. The fact is i try I disagree off and all i get is a hard time. It hasn't been easy at all but i keep my head up high and pushn on try walking in my shoe's before passing judgment on me. I gurantee you would look at things a whole lot different. Its always easy to say what you would do when your on the outside looking in try the other shoe its not as simple as sme seem to think. Once again i am sorry just think of people's feelings before you speak.

Brian, good to see things are looking up for you now. Keep your head up dude. I cant speak for the others but I am not here to put you or CCW down, or hurt your feelings.
Just some things I wanted to point out about last nights show.
1. Pot Head John - First off, story line wise how come he keeps wrestling each week? He had to win 2 proving matches and ended up loosing the second, but you should have kept the whole storyline of him trying to get his job back. Make him your pregnant dog or something lol. I mean it's better then no storyline at all. Secondly, it made no since as to why you came out with John.
2. Tracy - Again why were you out there? Regardless, you did a good job as a manager by really getting involved. I mean I enjoy seeing you manage cause your always clownin and haven a good time.
It was a fun show all the same.
Also I agree with Big Lee, and also would like to see some of the younger guys move up the card. If PHJ can, why not JP? He is one of the biggest faces, but I would also love to see a heel turn from him here soon, and turn Billy face.

See this is why CCW is so easy to pick up. No one is satisfied with the product... the fans or the wrestlers and to quote Abe Lincoln "A house divided cannot stand." I have laid the ground work for this for two years. I know that with the right hand to guide it that the Coliseum can return to its former position as one of the most respected venues in the sport of professional wrestling, but to do that heads must roll. I am intimately aware of the problems in front of and behind the scenes of CCW because there are those within the organization that will be more than happy to see that wannabe gangsta thug Brian Acker removed from the Evansville wrestling scene like the cancer he is. CCW has been ripe for the picking since the death of Eric Acker and I have bided my time until the time was right. What makes this the right time?
1) The weekly attendance has dropped to an all time low of 30 to 40 each week. This organization was set up as a fund raising arm for the Veterans Council. How much fund raising can you do with such poor attendance? Is the Veteran Council happy... would you be?
2) As voiced here and on other boards the few fans left and the true fans who refuse to show up for what currently passes as CCW are loudly opposed to the talent and product being offered to them.
3) The blame has finally come home to roost where it should. Although there are those that attempt to blame the booker in an attempt to earn the job for themselves, those who know anything about the wrestling business at all know that you can't book a wrestler if you have no money to pay him with. The blame at CCW lies with the owner Mr. Brian Acker and his failure to consistently promote his show in any way. How ridiculous is it that in Evansville when you mention wrestling at the Coliseum the only response you get is "Are they still doing that?" Between that and his total lack of people skills in front of and behind the curtains Brian Acker has been a one man destroyer of what little reputation CCW had left. It seems that the only response that Mr. Acker has to any criticism of his attempt to run a wrestling company is to resort to name calling, take off whatever over sized jersey he is wearing to reveal his pasty white body, and threaten to beat someone's @ss... and he wonders why no one in the wrestling business takes him seriously. Whether it is threatening fans or launching attack that drove away some of the hottest young talent on the independent scene today everything he does drives one more nail in the coffin.
I know from interviewing former CCW staff and wrestlers that they are not interested in returning as long as Brian Acker is in charge. He isn't smart enough to recognize those who would help his company from those who are only kissing his @ss to further their own agendas.
There are those within the company who understand the business and are good at what they do. Hold on a little longer and your prayers will be answered. Brian Acker's days of running and ruining CCW are coming to an end. I look forward to working with you. Those of you including the young wrestlers who are working for nothing, Dave Matthews, Walt, and the veterans who stay out of respect for what Evansville has meant to wrestling or out of respect for Eric Acker... your day is coming and I thank you for your dedication.
To the fans you have a right to be angry with what is being shoved down your throats every week but I kindly ask that you direct your anger to where it is deserved. Show nothing but the utmost respect to those who bust their @ss for you every week to do their best with a horrible situation. Show love to the wrestlers and workers of CCW and save your contempt for the real reason CCW is in this shape Brian Acker.
A final note for any who might read this who have been chased off by Mr Acker's antics whether they are wrestler or fan. Return now because I know you want to be there when he gets what he deserves and he is sent packing from CCW. I am coming and there is nothing he can do about it. My apologies to anyone he has offended with his vulgar rants and I promise I will make it Right.
The soon to be owner of CCW

Sounds like some poo is about to go down in CCW. The eyes of the Oboys are on you Mr Big Talker, so im expecting you to deliver. This isnt a shot at Brian, because i respect him for carring on his brothers company, but i would look forward to a shot in the arm at CCW. Good luck getting the crowds up on a weekly basis. To me the only way to raise attendance is to have a montly show, instead of a weekly show. People in Evansville are stupid to "talent" in Wrestling, so big names prolly wont even do the trick. When Ian ran Evansville, he promoted for weeks, guys like Christoper Daniels, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Abyss and drew about 50 people. That being said, i would welcome some talent back to CCW in a heartbeat and it would at least put some more asses from Owensboro in the seats.

I would really like to know who this special someone is. Unfortunatley I'm not going to show up every week in anticipation, unless of course it is worth my time. If the new H.N.I.C. would kindly inform us of his arrival, I can promise more asses in the seats. No Disrespect to CCW and the powers that be, but it is time for a change. Hopefully this change will be just as good as the time a man came to town with the first name starting with an "I" and ending in an "N" (I think there might of been an "A" in between there) If only the Coliseum would bring in talent like it used to on a weekly basis, and a strong advertising/street team it could definetly draw HUGE. I dont know if anyone is familiar with a little promotion by the name of Ring of Honor...or another by the name of CHIKARA. If not hop on over to google and run a search. Chuck Taylor and Ricochet are mainstays in CHIKARA nowadays and both promotions are overflowing with talent...mostly homegrown! Both promotions have strong marketing heads guiding them in the right direction. Things like DVD sales, Wrestling Tournaments, weekly podcast for free on itunes, is whats drawing the fans. The coliseum is one of the greatest wrestling venues in the world. Its a shame that great talent that once roamed the confines of the Coliseum has gone elsewhere. Look at these great indy promotions all over the world wrestling in bingo halls and school gyms. I know these wrestlers would kill to have a strong company to call home inside the coliseum. I know very many wrestlers that called the coliseum home. but after poor promoting they picked up and moved to Pensylvania. WHY? Because of these strong up and coming companys like ROH and CHIKARA! Where do they wrestle? Bingo Halls! I might be screamin at a brick wall for all I know. I just thought I would give my 2 cents. All I want to know is....Who is the man coming to town? Is it legit? Or is it a work? I dont give a d**n either way. I'm just tired of seeing a great venue like the coliseum filled with nuts!

Im with strongstyle on this one for the most part. I mean im an Oboy, and i havent really been saying what i think because i dont wanna stir the pot. As i sat here, i realized, hell thats what ur suppost to do. So F it, im gonna say what i think. CCW has no direction. Zero. I mean right when it looks like it may start to get direction, it goes back to about 10 backyard guys and about 3-4 real wrestlers. Its not even that that really bugs me. I thought it was a great idea for CCW to sale DVD's. I mean they are sitting on years worth of shows to sell, that would help pay some better talent. So what happens. Here it is a month and a half later and i cant even get an answer on any shows to buy. I mean i wanna give you guys money and i cant even get so much as an email. Until something changes, thats just the way CCW is going to be, and that blows, because CCW is my wrestling home. For me, thats where my best memories and my intrest in independent wrestling started. I just wish things could go back to the way they were, at least once a month.

I was decided to talk to a waitress friend of mine at the Casino Aztar lounge one night last week when I witnessed something I found VERY interesting. At a corner table sat a group including 6 former and current wrestling promoters. Naturally, I began to walk over to say hi and ask if a big Evansville show was in store in the future but upon further inspection the discussion looked to be all business.
I don't want to mention the inviduals in the group, but there was a representative with ties to CCW (I was shocked at who it was), someone with ties to TNA, IWA, OVW, and more. Judging by their deameanor from afar, I decided to take a nearby table, order a drink, and see what I could gather. The lounge was loud so I could only hear bits and pieces, but I drank my drink and sat with my waitress friend. I told her that this was very odd, so we casually listened to see what we could hear. did here things like "Buyout", "Major Changes", "Expansion plan", "Talent Exchange and Trade", "More Talent", "Lots Of Money" "Venue Change and Coliseum". The group talked a total of maybe 15 minutes, all stood up, said their respective goodbyes, and went their separate ways.
I would surmise this meeting regarded the rumors surrounding the buyout of CCW. I have to believe, no I know for a fact, there is a mole in CCW and this person will make it his objective to rid CCW of its current owner/GM. In the words of a well-known wrestling announcer, business is about to pick up!

Considering we're having all this talk about Brian getting ran out of CCW. From reading the response from the new owner I'm assuming he's going to be very hands on with his new company. Then I read the post right above this one about a big meeting over the future of CCW. We're def. getting ready to see a change in the guard. I'm just glad to see the rumors for a new share holder weren't just speculation. The biggest thing on my mind is, will this owner bring in new management. Will we have a general manager running the show or will the new owner take charge. No one really knows what is ahead, one thing is certain. Sounds like Brian won't be calling CCW home much longer.

Well for all u that are so eagerly awaiting the arrival of my advisary, or the majority share holder of ccdub. I hate to burst your bubble but i still own my 49 percent and i'm not going no where. I might not be the most buisness orintated or have a lot of money, and d**n sure don't have to much in the ways of friends in this buisness. I fell like a wounded seal alone in the middle of the ocean with a pack of orcha surrounding it. None the less whatever goes down i just want the fans to know i gave it my all and want to thank everyone from the locker room to the front row. My brother would have been proud. I guess i took a wrong turn some where, thats my fault i am pointing the finger at myself so all you can put your hands down, unlike anyone else i am man enough to stand up as long as i know the truth thats all that matter's DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR . I have one more request when i die make sure they lay me in the casket on my stomach so everyone can kiss my A$$ and when i get to hell me and the devil are going toe to toe and i'm gonna dig of in his A$$
